What I love about paying tariffs is that even though it puts me in the unenviable position of choosing between raising prices or eating higher costs, I can sleep easy knowing that this admin is funneling my tariff revenue to buoy/subsidize (aka socialism) important voting blocs that have been hurt by this self-inflicted trade war like soybean farmers. This while actively destroying social safety net programs like food assistance and healthcare and decrying such efforts to reduce inequality and help the working class as radical socialism.

Oh yeah and btw they’re still roving around terrorizing our cities in masks and unmarked cars ripping our friends, family and neighbors from the street. This admin is just the worst blend of idiocy and cruelty.

Headed home after a great week in Belize! Filled two freezers with lionfish (over 1300 removed) that are currently being processed into treats 🐶🐈 Working hard to put “out of stocks” in the rearview mirror.

After scaling supply chains for the devil fish and silver carp, it’s been long overdue to do the same with lionfish. I sat down with our local partners and developed a solid plan moving forward. We have to dive and spear each lionfish, which presents unique challenges, but we’re here for it.

I’m especially excited for a reef mapping project we’re starting to identify new hunting sites with the goal to improve the economics on each trip. More fish per dive = healthier reefs, more money in fishers’ pockets and more treats for our pets 🤘🏼

I’d love to come back and tag along but alas don’t think I can swing it. At least I got to sneak in 4 dives on this trip 😜
