Ryland went to a foster home today. Which is great, but, he needs a home of his own!

Ryland is the best dog. He is extremely well trained and loves to please. He’s very cuddly, he loves to run around and play with you, hes a pro at hide and seek! He’s got a lot of energy but can chill in the house with you. Hes healthy, happy, good with dogs, crate trained, what else could you ask for?!

Ryland is a 2 year old cattle dog mix. Please share far and wide!!!!

Ryland is currently at Orchard Point Kennels a great Board and Train facility. He’ll be ready for adoption as soon he completes his fine tuning. He is a high energy pup that would make a great jogging partner or if you’re willing to put the time in I believe he would make a great Agility dog.

Meet "Luna"
She was locked in an RV in freezing temperatures after being hit by a car.
Luckily she is ok from being hit by a car but we believe she is approximately a month pregnant.

She loves other dogs, cats and humans.

She is temporarily housed but needs a foster or adopter asap.

It is with a heavy heart, we announce that our special needs little girl, Thumbelina, took her last breath last night around 9pm. She had started losing weight, for which blood work didn't reveal any cause. Placed on B12 shots, oral b12, and mirtazapine to encourage eating, but her body simply was giving up. Pancreatic enzymes weren't working fast enough. She was placed on a dog bed in the sun, surrounded by the dogs she knew and spent time with. Eventually, she crossed the bridge. RIP, Thumbelina. Run free.

No known health issues
No skin issues
Dog, cat, young children, men, women, and horse friendly
Potty trained as well as any Frenchie can be
kennel/crate trained but has some barrier reactivity ONLY when in a kennel.

1 - Young (1-2 years old) spayed female English Bulldog
She could possibly have limited hearing but is not deaf
White/light skin and coat
Very friendly with people, young children and dogs

1 - adult (approx 5-6) neutered male pocket bully.
Dog friendly but prefers females as companions
Kennel/crate trained but will need to be put on a potty schedule for house breaking.

“Kilo” found his forever home!!

Through no fault of his own, he is looking for a family to call his own.

Meet “Kilo”
He is between 3-4 years old
Neutered
Up to date on shots
Bully Breed (did we mention HANDSOME!!) 😍
Big, playful, a little dominant but only because he didn’t have play friends previously.
Currently temporarily fostered with a male and female. He gets a little jealous, but with slow intros and supervised play time he is great!!

One of the rules that we've always had since this rescue started is to take things nice and slow. Our adopters have probably heard us say numerous times over the years that we like to take baby steps. This is exactly what we are doing with Thumbelina. Now, we are letting her not only run around the house as it is too cold to go outside for her, but we are also letting her play with other dogs. We just have to match her with dogs that aren't playing too rough. This of course is something challenging to do as the size differential is quite substantial. One thing we definitely know is that she loves to nap on the couch with some of the other dogs.

Today, right off of the transport from california, we welcomed our latest rescue, Ivy. She's about three or four years old, weighs about 22 to 25 lb, has to be fixed but will be ready for adoption soon. Get those applications filled out and turned in, as we are first come first serve. People who have previously applied for another Frenchie will be first in line.

Nala, the goofy queen, is finally ready for her forever home. She is 1.5 years old, weighs about 40lbs, is up-to-date on shots, spayed, and healthy. This English Bulldog loves other dogs and kids. Contact us directly for an application.

Last night around 8:30, Thumbelina was found with difficulty breathing and a hard time walking. Her background is because she was surrendered due to what mat have been a numerological episode such a stroke. Since being kenneled with Chunk the Frenchie, she perked up a lot. It was decided to drive to the closest emergency vet that could get her in, and that was an hour away. When we got there, she was seen, some blood work was and xrays were taken. We know now she has deformity in her back and an enlarged heart, but the vet did NOT necessarily think heart disease or defect. She is just super small for her age, so there were numerous explanations likely. Blood work came back normal. They did some mino procedures and prescribed meds to help her comfort. This morning, she is sleeping well next to Chunk. As you know, we rarely ask for donations, but this dog will need all the help she can get whether she goes to a home or stays at our Sanctuary. When seniors start their slow winding down, we as their humans notice the most subtle differences. Energy, body weight, neediness, and so forth. The dog that has been with the rescue and the director since it started is starting to slow down. Mind you, he is healthy, but there are things we notice, things we sense. Wully Bully, the quintessential MoB dog is doing great for his size and age but we are also allowing him extra care and love, snuggles, and all that he deserves. This isn't about worry, rather about celebrating life while you can. Don't mourn before they have crossed the bridge. There will a time and place for that. Just love the time you have.

Introducing the latest MoB dog, Nala. A purebred English bulldog who is one and a half years old and surrendered by a breeder who couldn't handle her skin issues or have time to deal with it, Nala is playful, dog friendly, kid friendly, and likely even cay friendly. She only had one litter and still has a long life ahead of her. We are getting everything taken care of for her skin and will have her fixed so that she can go on to a big yard and a happy family. We don’t get the opportunity to save puppies very often…. Why you might ask??
Well it’s because people keep them until they are adults, then dump them or abandon them at a high kill shelters.

But today is the day we have a SUPER cute, SUPER sweet, SUPER friendly 3 month old Pit/Bully Puppy available!!

I have an amazing friend/co-worker who (along with his daughter) stepped up to save this little girl and be her foster!! Not only that, but they are donating her adoption fee to OUR RESCUE!!
How RAD IS THAT!!!

Meet “Orange”
He’s a 40lb small/short/pocket size Staffie Bull Terrier.
He’s neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped.
Crate trained and potty trained and would be great with his own doggy door, or even an open door and he will take himself potty.

He’s SUPER AMAZING with other dogs! He WANTS to have a Dog friend!!

He’s loves attention from people, but he’s not an “In your face” kinda of dog. He’s initially a little more reserved and wants to “Survey the scene” but give him a little bit and he will be your BFF.

Did I mention he’s SUPER AMAZING with other dogs?? Oh yeah, I did!! But I just want to remind everyone because dogs like this that get a long with everyone don’t come along often!!

Sometimes, humans surprise us in good ways. A small breed rescue reached out to our director offering help without even being asked to. Their director offered as much food as would fit in the vehicle. Super high quality food, both grain and grain free, senior and puppy, and more. She told us we can pick this up and more whenever she goes yo pick up more from the distributors. Today has been a good day.

We have a wonderful dog (Lady) who lived her life with a homeless man who was arrested and jailed… she found herself on death row and was saved by MOB and after a year at the sanctuary she found an amazing home…. unfortunately she was diagnosed with mammary tumors (carcinoma) and needs life saving surgery.
