Bruce has been working extremely hard updating the kennel.
The fencing was all taken down at the beginning of the month and is being repaired.
Painting is now complete on the block and the walls. The paint on the block has to cure for two weeks. The fencing is scheduled to be put back up on April 29th and then the kennel will be back open on May 1st.
New cameras have also been installed and they give a much better view of everyone and we can keep a better eye on them from inside.
It looks so much brighter in there. 🐾💜

We will be CLOSED for the month of April this year.
We have maintenance to be done that takes time. Getting new fencing and that takes a few weeks plus painting and other maintenance.

Additional dog, separate run - $18
Multiple dogs per run - first dog $20, each additional dog $10.

Deluxe run -$22 (under 20 lbs)

ATTENTION:
Fireworks and thunderstorm season is here. If your dog has fears of loud noises and/or fireworks, please bring your THUNDER COATS and MEDICATIONS or any other calming device you use at home. Please let us know at drop off if they have any fears that make them very nervous so that we can keep an eye on them. We have had dogs cause harm to themselves because we weren't told about their fears and so didn't know to take precautions.

It's vacation time!
We would like to remind everyone to please check your pet(s) shot records and make sure your pet(s) are up to date on all the vaccinations.
Rabies
Distemper/Parvo
Bordetella (kennel cough)
If you need shots updated, please schedule these ASAP. Because of COVID some of you may have found that it is very difficult to get an appointment when you want it. Some of you have commented to us on how you've had to wait a month or more to get your pet into the vet for non emergency visits. Some have held off on going to the vet for vaccinations because of COVID. ALL vaccinations MUST be updated at a minimum of 48 hours before your drop off date.
Don't forget to bring any updated shot records with you when you come. We cannot accept any pets that we don't have up to date records for in our system. There are no exceptions to this rule. This is for the safety of all our boarders.

Last night we said goodbye to our buddy Hans. He was 13 years, 1 month and 20 days old. He was a lover of all and would follow you through the house to be near you. 💙 He is playing with Smokey, Ilse and Sasha over the rainbow bridge. 🌈 RIP Hans. 🐾 5/28/2007- 7/20/2020

We set up a little shop in the kennel. Custom lithophane nightlights, window hangings and keychains. Done with your favorite photo or sayings. Also 3D toys and fun keychains. Also, masks in four sizes. Also available are custom DIY iron on decals for masks. Class of 2020 iron on are bogo’s. Will be adding more.

Owner: he woke us up at 5am because he knew he was coming here today.

Here are a list of new rules on re-opening. They may change or new rules may be added as time goes and we see how it goes. We will try to update ASAP. Thanks!
1. Masks are required to be worn on premises.
2. Six foot social distancing will be followed.
3. Only one owner allowed inside at a time.
4. Hand off of dogs can be done outside.
5. We will put a slip lead on and you will take your lead off and take it with you.
6. No one will be allowed beyond the lobby.
7. At this time, we are not allowing any bedding. We will gladly put a blanket or towel in with them.
8. We also have the kuranda beds available. $1 per day.
9. All food and medication (stored in weekly pill organizers) are to be left outside to be sanitized. Please only bring what is necessary.
