We are very proud to announce Echo/GCHS Endless Mtns Imperial Echos Of Great North Woods CGC has passed her health testing with OFA “good” hips and normal elbows, thyroid and cardiac! This news comes just in time for some other special happenings here!😉

It is suppose to be sunny and in the 80's! We are kind of tired of the rain and cold weather but please remember that 70 can turn to 100F in a car!

-Cracking the window does not allow enough circulation to keep the car cool enough for your pet.
-Dogs with smooshed faces like French bulldogs, Boxers, English Bull dogs, Pugs etc are at a higher risk of heat stroke.
-Dogs with laryngeal paralysis ( change in bark, sounds like they are roaring when they pant) are at higher risk of heat stroke at lower temperatures.
-It is hot enough to cause heat stroke on a walk or in the car today!
-Please be mindful that we went from 48 to 84 really quickly! Your pet didn't have time to adjust and that "usual" walk at 50 degrees might be too much for them today!

Breed Stats out through the end of April and we are pretty excited for Great North Woods Tibetan Mastiffs and all our extended family! Echo is number 2 TM, number one female and the only female in the top six Tibetan Mastiffs! Cousin Leaf is number 5, our Bodhi number 9, Zander (half brother to our pups), momma Tashi and daughter Nyima all tied for number 11, and litter sister Stella tied for 18th! Congrats to all🎉🎉

Tibet was a closed country for Europeans for many centuries, and its people lived according to their traditions, almost without changing their measured way of life. Therefore, local aboriginal dog breeds entered the 20th century in their pristine beauty and not affected by show standard.

Daniel Rosa with Bodhi/CH Great North Woods New Kid In Town, 16 months old after blowing all his puppy coat going on to take Best Of Breed Saturday May 3rd at Bucks County kennel club show under judge David J Peat. That was the last Grand Champion major win needed and now Bodhi only needs a few single points to finish his Grand Champion!
