𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 for your continued trust in our services! This Fall/Winter brought us continued joy doing this work but also a difficult season of life while several members of our Team navigated personal matters. We always embrace the messy side of life that often becomes relevant when sharing our lives with and loving dogs. 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 is a full service socialization and custom-training program with four-week and eight-week options available. This program is a great alternative to traditional dog daycare and we have openings starting on Tuesday, March 4th! 𝐎𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 is back Wednesday, February 5th! This club is reserved for approved clients. Join us to practice loose leash walking, polite greetings, and settling skills at dog friendly locations.

𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 is back Sunday April 27th and Tuesday April 29th! Big Feelings Club focuses on reducing “reactivity” or pulling, barking, lunging behaviors on leash. This program is best suited for dog-directed reactivity since attendees have the opportunity to pair with our alumni dog/handler teams for practice each week.

𝐏𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 are scheduled every other weekend beginning in March!

𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄! 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐬 are perfect for busy Guardians and allows our team to give your dog consistency with one of our skilled team members coming to your house to work one-on-one with your dog. Walks are approximately 45 minutes and recommended for goals like loose leash walking, addressing reactivity, and more. 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄! 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐬 are an hour long visit where our Team will transport your dog to a dog friendly trail or nature area and they will get to explore and smell on a long lead. We can’t get enough of all the gorgeous German Shepherds we’ve been working with lately! 🥰❤️ Team Sadie has been working so hard tackling their training goals and we couldn’t be more proud of them!

Recently, Sadie mastered the use of her scratch board to keep her nails nice and filed without the stress of a nail trim. She showed off how clever she is at her recent coaching session!

Congratulations to Team Willow, Team Millie, and Team Leonard for graduating from our Nail Care Class!

We’re so proud of these amazing teams for taking on the dreaded task of nail trims and making it a more enjoyable experience for both the human and dog. They mastered the use of scratch boards and worked towards low stress nail trims at their dogs individual pace. It was so lovely to watch these amazing guardians provide their dogs with choice and prioritize comfort.

Congratulations to Team Millie, Team Leonard, Team Onix, and Team Garfunkel (not pictured) for graduating from our Recall (or Coming When Called) Class!

These amazing teams CRUSHED this round of Recall Class. With a new recall cue, strategic recall training plan, and some REALLY good snacks we got to celebrate wins of recalling off chasing critters, the residents cats, and on off leash trail hikes our final week together. We couldn’t be more proud of these teams!

This is one of our favorite classes. We hope you’ll join us in 2025 if a more reliable recall is on your wish list!

There’s really no words to describe the grief of losing my Grandfather unexpectedly this week.

I started volunteering in shelters/animal rescue when I was in Middle School. There was an after school program that was discontinued but I was hooked. Since the program ended and he knew how much I loved it, my Grandpa and I started volunteering every weekend at Copper Country Humane Society. This was the first stop on my trajectory to becoming a professional dog trainer and he was my biggest cheerleader.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank our clients for being so understanding and kind as we worked to reschedule appointments and programming this week. Thank you for sending well wishes, adorable pictures and messages “from” your dogs. We have the most amazing clients!
