The first generation of Swabian-Halls arrived this afternoon and they are so incredibly precious! This is an exciting day on the farm and something we have been looking forward to for quite some time!
The Mini Nubian and Fainter/cross breedings are also underway for April kids! Those updates will be coming a little later. There will NOT be any Standard size Nubian kids next spring. All Nubians are being bred for Minis this year. We do still have 2 bucklings available from summer that can go as registered herd bucks, unregistered bucks, or wethers.

Seeking a new pasture is our very own McCoy. This is a little bit of a tough cut, but I'd like to try to get our numbers down before winter. He's a nice long bodied boy. He's obviously never been clipped up, but if someone was very seriously interested I'd consider it.
Purebred Nigerian Dwarf Buck, no registration.
2 years old in December.
He's either gold and white with some shading, or possibly a red buckskin. Sire was black and threw lots of Chamoise. Dam was gold. Dam's Dam was buckskin.
Disbudded, does grow scurs but they've never been a problem.

Fern gave birth to quads this afternoon. 2 Black and White Bucklings and 2 Chamoisee Doelings, unfortunately one of the doelings did not make it. Kids are sired by WHIPPERWILLOW TB Zeiders. Really nice production behind these kids but no registration. I will be repeating this breeding next year.

Did you know that we have one great big white Saanen?! Her name is Salt. She is one of my three original goats. She delivered twin doelings this morning! These little ladies are sired by ERSA Acres Lecade, and are F1 Mini "Snubians." Both girls are all white just like their mom. I will be retaining one and making one available. While these girls are technically "Minis" I would be very surprised if they are not ATLEAST 90lbs at maturity, and could very possibly be upwards of 100lbs. They will also likely have "airplane" ears. Their ears will probably drop somewhat when they are relaxed/sleeping, but then perk up when they are at attention as shown in this photo. If you are interested in adding one of these little ladies to your farm please send us a message! ☺️

Ada might not be registered stock, but she IS my top producing first freshener this year, without being separated from her doeling at all. She also has an amazingly soft udder that is so nice for hand milking! I would love to see her make someone a nice little family milker. We are currently working on leading.
This line has also consistently produced large, growthy kids that are able to be bred as yearlings.
One of our goals this year was to hopefully have our unregistered stock out produce themselves and then move them along. Miss Ada has done just that, and so she will be seeking a new farm when her doeling is of an appropriate age.
We are a clean tested herd, and she has tested clean for CAE, CL, and Johnes.
