We are a boarding facility offering an exceptional level of care for your equine family members. We are an owner operated facility with 30 plus years of horse care experience. Our 13 acre property boasts safe individual turnouts, large indoor arena, 8 acre field for outdoor activities and a high quality 20 stall barn with climate controlled tack room, kitchenette and full bath.

I have spent 3 of the last 4 days learning, first at the NEDA fall symposium, then today at HHF watching Andy Thomas teach trainers about the importance of symmetry and physiotherapy in our riding. Duett was a star letting me get all taped up! A lot to reflect on for sure. Thank you Lainey Johnson and Andy Thomas!!

At Highland Hill Farm we are all about lifelong learning and improving the partnership between horse and rider in dressage. As a first generation American who lived in the south of France for a time, I have also always loved lavender, so, we picked a spot in our beautiful field and started planting. When visiting the lavender you have to just stop and listen. The pollinators are hard at work, all sorts of little creatures are busy leading their lives in the middle of it all. the deer pass by, and the turkeys amble about. It is just good. Today I was thrilled to sell some of our lavender to an amazing store called Fulfilled Goods in Newton. With the goal of reducing waste, reuseing and recycling , this store offers bulk food, beauty, and household products that are sold in glass containers that customers bring in. No more single use plastic! That is also just good. I will for sure go back for some thoughtful shopping. Everyone can do their part!

Thanks to a great team today the horses got to enjoy the snowfall! I have been wanting snow-y headshots since we bought the farm and today was the day. It was cold and wet but I can’t complain because it was frankly beautiful. 🐴❄️
