The True and honest to god facts on Kaydee Stoegbauer! I have gotten calls from all over the country by people that want the whole story after Joe's recent post to his and my page regarding Kaydees death from 4+ years ago. However I am disappointed in how fast people are so quick to judge and repost/comment/or review without even knowing the facts but that is social media at its finest I guess!

This was a living nightmare when it happened and still is! Honestly I hope others will live and learn from this experience and the truths of it! Even when this happened spring of 2019 I was an open book then and I still am now. Please call me directly if you have questions and i will be happy to answer any questions you may have. 920-299-1956
I understand Joe is hurt by the loss of his pet and in denial that she died of a grass seed awn and is easier to blame and accuse others when you're hurting.

While i was training Kaydee, Joe kept trying to tell me how to train her! Now keep in mind joe is a professional dog trainer himself and owned this dog her whole life yet did not have the knowledge or know how to get Kaydee past jr level. Kaydee came to me with many bad habits. I had to address and try to fix very basic things with Kaydee before I could even start to do more advanced work. As you will see in our Text communication Joe keeps trying to tell me what to do and how to train Kaydee, and at this point I had only had her about 3 weeks. When I told Joe I cant train her this way as his techniques were not fixing her issues he was unhappy with her progress even in those short few days .
After a few Uncalled for texts on 1/21/2019 from Joe I finally told him I was done training her and to come get his dog or arrange travel for her, or I would simply board her for the remaining of the trip as i could not train Kaydee or advanced her with him trying to micromanage all the videos or text I would send him of her progress. Joe then changed his mind and apologized and asked me to keep training her that he was out of line. I didn’t want to but I agreed to continue on with her training. He eased up for a little bit but then was back to micromanaging my training as you will see in our conversations. Even though Joe and I had different ideas on how to work with Kaydee to fix and advance her! I still did what I thought was the best things to bring the best out of Kaydee and we had made huge advancements with kaydee’s training and line manners(which if not fixed she could have never advanced on anyway) . Even though Joe expecting me to be able show everything she learned via a couple videos(which is impossible). Im here to train dogs and trying to hold a video camera while doing it doesn’t always work out. But these videos that I am sharing are the videos that I sent to Joe along the way as well!

NOTE THE VIDEO 3/21/2019 that is the last video I had the chance to get of her before coming home! SHE DOES NOT APPEAR SICK HERE OR IN ANY OF THE VIDEOS ALONG THE WAY. Joe tries to portray I knew she was sick for months and I just wouldn’t take her to a vet! NO NO NO that is not the case I would never do that to a dog! Kaydee was not sick or atleast not showing she was sick!
I was really pretty excited to show joe our progress when we got home as she had improved drastically from when I started with her!

So to put all the rumors to rest!!
NO I DID NOT STARVE, KICK,DROWNDED OR MISS TREAT KAYDEE IN ANYWAY I AM NOT GONNA KEEP ALLOWING PEOPLE TO KEEP BASHING ME AND BELIEVING I MISS TREATED HER

I DIDN'T HAVE ANY CONTROL OF THIS GRASS SEED AWN AND THE HORRIBLE TIMIMG THAT SHE GOT SICK LITERALLY THE MOMENT I OPENED HER DOOR TO DO A SHOW AND TELL WITH JOE AT PICK UP TIME!!
like Joe Stoegbauer is trying to portray in his recent posts and reviews on my page!

While she was in my care. I have nothing to hide and I am an open book when it comes to what happened with Kaydee. She was in my care from 12/27/2018- 3/30/2019 at about 5pm.
To make long story short Kaydee’s health while she was in training was never an issue. I did tell joe she doesn’t always eat all her food, but she always ate everyday, sometimes just taking her all day to eat her food. This is not uncommon when dogs are not in their normal environments and she never showed any signs of anything else; it was never a huge concern. I have pictures and videos of Kaydee working up until about a week before we came home. And you can see Kaydee is not sick. Kaydee is fit and happy to work.
So now let's talk about my last few days before my trip back to Wisconsin that lead up to the events that happen and that Joe is referencing.
So a day before my planned trip home I did have a client dog that jumped over the truck and trailer hitch while out airing and somehow caught his leg and ripped it wide open. So I loaded the dog up and headed to the vet with the dog to after hours vet as it was gonna need stitches. I contacted his owner and let them know what had happened, was able to get the dog into the vet and got its leg stitched up. No one's fault, just a freak accident. But since it was so close to coming home I decided to come home early to get said dog to its owners to heal up.

My drive home from Texas was pretty uneventful, I stopped and aired all the dogs multiple times on the way home. All the dogs unloaded and loaded in their holes and aired and all acted normal each time we aired. When I arrived home in Wisconsin I also aired all the dogs before going to get some rest myself from the drive. Again all the dogs did their business as usual and acted normal as always. When i got up early from my nap I also aired all the dogs again at home and all dogs were happy and healthy at that time as well. I had appts during the day for everybody to start coming to pick up their dogs. 1 by 1 dogs went home. Joe's time to pick up Kaydee was around 5pm on Saturday evening. Joe arrived and I wanted to show him a little show and tell so I told him to meet me and pull down in the back field, I grabbed the ranger to go get Kaydee and go to show joe what we worked on. When I opened the kennel door to let Kaydee out she didn’t want to jump right out, I actually had to kinda grab her collar to get her to come out. Never did I have to help her out; she would always jump out! But still not really realizing she was as sick as she was she still got in the ranger and we went to the back field where Joe and I talked for a moment and then I shot a flier for Kaydee as line manners was a huge deal for her and she went out and got her bird and came back. I will be honest she was not herself at that moment. But in that moment and the awkwardness between me and joe as you will read in our text conversation history it was awkward. Joe loaded her up and off they went. I guess the biggest thing I regret is in that exact moment that neither of us talked about the fact Kaydee was not acting normal. I was thrown off guard also not knowing exactly why Kaydee seemed very quiet and not herself. Shortly after Joe got home with her he called me saying she had a 104.4 Temp. Then I remember saying that must be why she was acting so weird when we shot the bird for her, I advised yes please get her to a vet and let me know what they find out. As she was never like this until that moment. What ever was wrong with her reared its head from the time I aired her during the day until the time joe arrived about 5pm
Joe called his vet, veterinary village and told them her symptoms. They advised they could see her Sunday afternoon or advised he would need to go to an after hours vet. So with Kaydee in his care and him knowing she had a fever which usually means infection he also chose to wait until that appointment on Sunday as well. So even he didn't feel it was an emergency at that point as he did not opt to take her to the 24hr emergency vet right away with knowing her temp has that high! At some point through the night Kaydee got worse and Joe then took her to the referral center early Sunday morning. At this point Kaydee is very sick and dehydrated and they find the fluid and infection on her lungs. They did take Kaydee to surgery where she died during the surgery. Autopsy was performed which said they believed she got pyothorax due to that of a grass seed awn.
As unfortunate and tragic and the most horrible timing to present itself this is the truth and exactly what happened with Kaydee.

Joe tries to tell everybody she was 20+pound underweight but that is not true her weight on the vet paperwork from a few days before Kaydee left on the trip was 54lbs and her weight when he got her to the referral center was 46lbs. So she did lose 8lbs with being worked on the trip and also now knowing she was sick/dehydrated on the exam table.

I will attach everything openly!

All of our text conversations between joe and I as he tried to say i did not communicate but you will see i do communicate quite often sometimes even driving special into town as where i stayed that year was horrible cell service.

Also Joe did intiate a court case which was eventually dismissed 6-21-2022 as his attorney withdrew of counsel of plaintiff(Joe )
Green lake county case number-2021CV000028
These are public records.

Also I will attach Kaydees autopsy which also does not say that she was starved to death or beaten, that she died of pyothorax likely from a grass awn!

I will also post later a few stories/facts and links of Grass seed awns and just how deadly they can be and also how a lot of times present quickly before you ever knew they were sick and turned deadly in hours after first signs of sickness.

Have any of you reading this ever have a dog get a seed awn and pyothorax?? Would love for you to share the outcome if you wouldn’t mind so we can all be aware of just how deadly they are.
Yes my own dog Tuff-MH QAA also died of prothorax from a seed awn in fall of 2020, He actually ran a O/H Qual the Sat before he passed away. The only thing that would have been a sign was he had missed his 3rd mark(rarely did tuff miss a mark). Tuff was fine thru the week but when I went to air on friday morning found Tuff very down and out, let him out of his kennel and he went and laid under the truck. I immediately got him to great lakes vet clinic, after their exam and realizing his condition they sent us to the Appleton referral center. Referral center finally had him in and examined by like 3-4pm and confirmed prothorax, they did surgery early Saturday morning and I got a call that it was way worse then expected to find inside. Tuff was laid to rest saturday. So yes they do get sick that fast and can die from it that fast!

It was a weekend of dog and dog people .
Senior debut for
Biscuit resulted in a brake right out of the box
Gidget got through the fisrt pretty well but when she went for the second mark as she passed by the holding blind a peeked in at this guy sitting she freaked and froze the stare down lasted til I said hunt em up she grabbed the bird and high tailed it out of there .
I believe she still had his image in her head and simply began self employed on the last part of the blind.
So neither girl got through .
