Admission to our Fall Festival event Sunday, October 1 is FREE! Tickets are $8 which includes the meal & dessert. Tickets are available for sale at the event. Our menu will include a deluxe grilled cheese sandwich, chili, fresh cheese curds, apple slices, milk or water, and a caramel apple sundae for dessert. Kids 5 and under eat for free! We hope you can join us in this beautiful weather on the farm at Trillium Hill Farm N8273 County Road F, Berlin from 10am - 2pm.

One more day until our Focus on the Farm Fall Festival. EVENT PARKING will be in the farm field on the same side of Hwy 73, just south of the farm. For handicapped parking please enter at the farm driveway by the house. Please do not park in the Church parking lot across the highway.

There will be many kids activities at our Fall Festival including pumpkin decorating, kids corn dig, butter making, a petting zoo featuring many farm animals, and more!

Only 5 more days until our Fall Festival event! Based on the forecast today Mother Nature is going to give us a beautiful fall day! Sunny and a high of 68 degrees! Tickets for our event will be sold the day of the event and are $8 for adults and kids 6 and up. Kids 5 and under are free! A fun part of any event on the farm is the wagon ride! Thank you to East Central Benefit Tractor Cruise for the use of their wagon to give families a ride from parking to the shed where our Fall Festival meal will be served. Only 15 more days until our Fall Festival at Jahnke Dairy near Markesan!

We will be serving Mullins Cheese squeaky fresh cheese curds along with the rest of our menu. Thank you to MAM Farms for their generous donation of cheese curds made fresh from milk produced at their Green Lake County dairy farm.

Thank you to the Lake County Dairy Promoters Inc. for their continued support of our event. They are providing the WI cheddar cheese for our grilled cheese sandwiches and will be serving FREE caramel apple sundaes at the event as well! Look for their "Red Dairy Barn" at our Fall Festival and at other county events throughout the year. We hope to see you on Sunday, October 2!

Learn about our menu! Our first feature from our menu is our gourmet grilled cheese sandwich. Our carefully assembled sandwich features 2 Wisconsin cheeses including Wisconsin mild cheddar (donated by Green Lake County Dairy Promoters) & Belgioioso Provolone cheese, this is a winning combination that is sure to please! Belgioioso provolone is made from milk that comes from Jahnke Dairy and donated by Belgioioso Cheese, Inc. We hope you can join us on Sunday, October 2 to try our gourmet grilled cheese along with the rest of our menu!

Meet our host family! Jahnke Dairy - Matt & Vicki Jahnke along with their sons Owen, Weston, & Graham own and operate Jahnke Dairy. Jahnke Dairy was established in 1982 at the current farm site by Matt's parents, Andy & Debbie Jahnke. After Matt earned his degree from UW-River Falls in December 2004 he came back to the farm and purchased the cattle, and continued the dairy operation. By the end of 2005 a 60 cow freestall barn was built. The freestall barn was added onto in 2014 totaling 100 stalls, while still milking in the old tie stall barn.
Looking to improve on labor efficiencies, an automatic calf feeder was added in 2016. After having success with automation for the calves and researching automatic milking systems, the process came to realization. On October 26, 2021, they began milking with 2 Lely A5 Robotic milkers which the family named Hilda & Gertrude.
Currently the farm has about 120 milking cows and 130 calves and heifers. They grow alfalfa, corn, soybeans, and wheat on 450 owned and rented acres. To help improve the soil instruction, erosion, and help the environment no-till and cover crops practices are used on many acres.
