We have made a tough decision to cancel our event next Sunday due to the extreme heat.

With the forecast of close to 100 degrees for at least three days in a row, we worry about the horses, riders, trainers and volunteers who need to prepare and participate in our event. We enjoy organizing a great day for all of you, but this one is too likely to be unhealthy for everyone.

Fortunately, we are holding an event three weeks later on July 14th and another on August 4th. Tell us if you would like to change to one of those days or get a refund. We’re sorry to have to cancel but look forward to seeing you in July or August. Keep hydrated!

Refunds will be sent out in the next few days.

Our Story

Orchard Hill is a luxury equestrian facility in Berlin, MA. We offer boarding, riding lessons, horse training, and coaching. We also host 3-4 competitions per year, including two- and three-phase events. Our three barns feature 12x12 box stalls with rubber mats and automatic waterers; heated tack rooms and lunch area; and 24 hour rodent control courtesy of our barn cats, Fang and Claw.

For riders, we offer a 70' x 210' indoor arena with "HoofCushion" premium rubber fiber footing and radiant heat, a standard (20x60m) outdoor dressage arena with SureFoot rubber footing, two outdoor jumping rings with rubber footing, a two acre cross-country schooling field with a spring-fed water complex, and two miles of trails on our 70 acre property.

Upper level eventing professional Caroline Teich is based at Orchard Hill, and offers instruction, horse training, show coaching, and help buying or selling horses.
