✨ What’s in your grooming tote? ✨
Today our very own Charlotte Hess will compete in the NEEC horsemanship practicum here at New England finals, after her written test score earned her a spot in the top 12. We are so proud of Charlotte and wish her the best of luck in this phase! ❣️🍀 #cwdriders #ushja

🍭Skittles & Annie🍭
Annie has been working with skittles since the fall. After selling her first pony, Annie & Skittles definitely had some challenges creating a trusting bond together. Over the last 6 months Annie has put in all the extra work with her mental skills coach, to prepare her mindset for bigger goals with a tougher pony. Sometimes we forget how HUGE of a role our brains and our emotions play in our riding. And with the stigma around mental health that still exists, sometimes the hardest thing for a kid (or adult!) is knowing you need help and asking for it. That’s exactly what Annie did. a rocky start to their journey, Annie and skittles worked tirelessly together in and out of the saddle to make their communication seamless on course. This past weekend the two entered the show ring with confidence like I’ve never seen before and ended up reserve champion in the pre-childrens equitation division out of a huge group. Sometimes it’s not just about more leg, or putting your heels down more. Sometimes it’s about stepping back and building trust and setting small goals along the way. I’m so excited to see how far these two can go together now that they have truly connected and ride as one team. Here’s a video of their second trip this weekend💚 I am proud of this kid and this pony.
