Maplewood Farm Offering instruction year-round and personal attention for success in and out of the show ring

We are a 25 stall farm set on more than 20 acres in the beautiful horse country of Berlin Massachusetts. The property abuts town conservation land and miles of varied trails. We offer amenities such as a heated tack room, lockers, running hot & cold water, a wash stall with heat lamps, feed rooms, and a loft for storage. A 125' x 260' state of the art outdoor arena, set on top of a free draining b

ase and topped off with GGT footing. A 85' x 225' insulated indoor arena with GGT footing and is heated in the winter.

Join us for our Winter Horsemanship Clinic ❄️🐴 happening February 19-20 from 1-4 PM! This is a great opportunity to expand your horsemanship skills with hands-on learning from top professionals.

📅 Clinic Highlights:
🔹 Wednesday (1-4 PM) Grooming & horse care with Meaghan Monahan: Learn how to groom to perfection! Understand the purpose of different grooming tools, how to get your horse truly clean, and the proper way to tack up 🧼✨
🔹 Thursday (1-4 PM):
➡️ Ellie Palmier will kick things off by demonstrating different types of wraps and how to apply them correctly
➡️ Dr. Becky will cover equine first aid, when to call the vet, and what to do in an emergency
➡️ Nancy Murphy will share what judges look for in the show ring, comparing rated competitions vs. IEA shows

📍 Cost: $200 for Maplewood riders | $250 for non-Maplewood riders

Last night, Tamara was invited to speak at the Ethel Walker School’s annual seminar alongside Belinda Colgan of Skidmore College and Ali Ingelis of Mount Holyoke College! It was an incredible opportunity to share insights about riding at the collegiate level, from navigating the IHSA and NCEA processes to what life in the saddle looks like during college 💬✨

A huge thank you to Ethel Walker for including us in such a meaningful conversation! We’re always excited to help students explore their equestrian opportunities in college and beyond 🌟

What a short and sweet day hosting our IEA Show! Huge congratulations to our Upper Team for taking home the Championship and to Upper Creek Equestrian's Upper Team for earning Reserve Champion! In the middle school division, a big congrats to Clover Hill for earning the Championship, and to Spring Tide for securing Reserve Champion 🏆

A special shoutout to all the team members, parents, and volunteers who helped the day run so smoothly – we couldn't have done it without you 🙌 And, of course, a big thank you to our amazing horses, with Wyatt earning the Horse of the Show award 💙 Last but not least, congratulations to Jillian A. for winning the Sportsmanship award!
