Good morning, we get alot of these questions during this time of the year. Here are some basic guidelines on sharing thanksgiving food with your pet. This is a general outline we are not Vets or Nutritionists. Please be safe and if your pet has any reactions to food reach out to your local vet or animal hospital. Happy Thanksgiving!

Good morning, due to weather and the current power outage affecting our area The Wild Birdhouse will be closed for the day. We will be getting in touch with anyone with a grooming scheduled for the day. Please be safe out there. Fun bird fact: Most birds have scale-like feet that even during the winter prevent their feet from sticking to metal like our tongues would to a flag pole. Also all our suet feeders have a laminate covering to prevent potential sticking of our feathered friends. Happy snow day!

Good morning! Due to weather we are going to delay opening the shop today. There is also a power outage in the area. We are waiting for more info before we ask anyone to come in for grooming or shopping. Please be safe and stay warm folks.

Good morning Birdhouse Community. Lots of weather coming up these next few weeks. Birds are still hungry looking for every opportunity to eat. In the pictures are Gold Finches, Sparrows and House Finches. Be safe out there with all the weather coming in. Fun fact that birds eat more during the winter to produce more body heat you will also see them "fluff" themselves up to trap warm air close to their skin when it is cold out.

You didn’t walk into the wrong location, we just moved some things around. We pushed our grooming salon out about six feet!! We brought in another table AND a second tub 🛁
We took down our giant cash wrap to make room for more shelves (which means more products!!!)

We still have lots to do but we’re up, we’re running and we’re so thankful for our wonderful staff and customers who have been so patient with us❤️

Good morning Wild Bird House Community, this last week has been a crazy one we have finsihed a huge remodel of our shop. There are still cosmetics and lots or organizing to be done please bear with us as we are putting final touches on things. In the mean time here are a few pics of the incredible work that has been done in the shop. We could not have done as much as we did without the support of an amazing team here at the Birdhouse as well as a very dedicated contractor team.

We are currently in the process of expanding our grooming salon, painting AND rearranging our aisles😄

We cannot do any grooming services this week (including walk-in nail trims) because our salon is currently under construction, however, our store is still open so come on in and get your furry friends some treats!🦴

Good morning Birdhouse community! Today is the first day of the remodel as a reminder the salon is closed until the 22nd. Our store remains open during this time please pardon the mess as we make necessary changes in the shop but we would love to see you for any pet or birding goodies. Exciting things to come.

Good morning Birdhouse community. Reminder that we are going to be closed for Labor day 09/02/2024 please be safe during the holiday. Please pardon any work that we have going on in the coming weeks as we prep for the remodel in the shop. Lastly we restocked out clearance shelf as we come into the next month, lots of goodies to grab at a huge deal as we start moving into September.

Good afternoon The Wild Birdhouse community, today we donated to Watermelon Mountain Ranch with all of your help. I love that we have such a great community and awesome following thank you for caring so much. Side note cat food, treats and litter are usual what shelters lack. The literal buckets of cat food we were able to deliver is making sure that a cat looking for a forever home is going to be a happier and healthier member of the family. We will put the donation bin out tomorrow so we can start collecting for next month. Thank you all so much for your effort and support.

Good afternoon folks, i wanted to touch base with you all. The Wild Birdhouse Website is currently down but will be back up and running within the next few days. With a brand new look as well. In the mean time a fun bird fact for you all. A woodpecker can peck up to 8,000 times in a day. They also enjoy a variety of snacks such as, termites, ants, larvae and even small rodents!

Good morning Birdhouse community. As we are moving into the tail end of the year there are a few changes soon to be happening in store.
First we are using a new system for grooming to keep track of appointments if you see staff with a tablet in hand we may be working on appointments. Later updates on this system will be released in the coming weeks.
Second we are going to be doing a remodel to expand our salon. That will be happening 09/17-09/21 our store will be open but the salon will be closed.
Lastly we are booking out in October and November. The Holiday season is coming up please book ahead before we have no spots for 2024. Thank you for your understanding and we are looking forward to an awesome end of the year.
