With heavy heart, today we share this news. Yesterday, Joe found our wonderful Great Pyrenees Macy deceased. It was a horrible, horrible shock. Her death was obviously sudden, and totally unexpected. She had no known health issues and received regular veterinary care. There is no clue as to what ended her precious life. Macy was an amazing dog. As an LGD (livestock guardian dog) she had a strong protective instinct and was totally amazing with every animal kin living at KBBY. In early days, she loved romping in the backyard with Karma Bob the yak. She really wanted his horns! Certainly her strong bark kept predators on notice and at bay. She enjoyed digging dens, any ball or ball-shaped items what-so-ever, her turtle toy, and belly-rubs. She was strongly bonded with Joe, and enjoyed cuddling. She is, and always will be, deeply missed by all of us. Macy just turned 7 years young 5 days ago on Halloween. Please, in honor of Macy: take time every day to love on your precious animal kin. Tell your human kin you love them, tell your friends how special they are to you. Not a single day is guaranteed to us. Fly high precious girl, run fast into the brightest light. May you be reborn in a blooming lotus flower in Dewachen. We love you. 🐾 ❤️ 🐾
