Hiya friends! My name’s Peg and I can’t figure out why my family hasn’t found me yet.

I’ve been in foster in NY since the beginning of December… that’s almost 3 months! I’ll be 6 months old the first week of March. I would love to celebrate my half birthday in the comfort of my forever home!

I’m almost 40 lbs, and 2 of my siblings had their DNA done and it’s agreed I’m a Great Pyrenees mix. With a bunch of other stuff in there! I’m going to be a big girl so a fenced in yard for me to run around in would be ideal. Or a lot of land and someone who loves long walks.

I’m a little shy when I first meet someone but it goes away quickly! I just need a little bit of time to get my footing. I love other dogs but let them lead the interaction. When it’s time to play, I play hard. I demand bark a little if other dogs don’t include me, so I gotta work on that. I am generally a gentle giant.

I am an angel in my crate and do well pottying outside with a doggy door. I actually spend a lot of time outside if I can!

🐑 Fellow livestock producers — I could really use your help 🌾
I’m a sheep farmer in New York participating in the National Science Foundation (NSF) I-Corps program through Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). My assignment is to speak directly with producers to better understand real challenges on farms today.

I need to complete 50 producer interviews in the next 3 weeks, and I would truly value hearing from people doing this work every day.

I’m not selling anything — this is farmer-to-farmer learning to make sure future tools actually reflect what we deal with on the ground.

If you raise sheep, cattle, goats, or other livestock and would be willing to share your experience, I’d be incredibly grateful for 10–15 minutes of your time.
