Exciting dressage finals with Danish Warmblood-horses
In the coming days, the U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions will be held in Wayne, Illinois and with several Danish Warmblood-horses horses on the starting list
The prestigious event U.S. Festival of Champions, the US multi-level championship was kicked off with a victory in Prix st. Georges by Christian Simonson on the Danish Warmblood Son of a Lady, a week-long national championship will take place at Lamplight Equestrian Center in the suburb of Chicago.
The riders and horses are qualified for participation, and there are several Danish Warmblood-horses on the starting lists. One of them is Zhaplin Langholt e. Zonik/Stedinger (breeder Ole Magnus Jensen and Bente Graasbøll) ridden by Danish/American Charlotte Jorst, they are also on the longlist for the Pan American Games in Santiago in October together with Christian Simonson with Son of a Lady e Soreldo/ Welt Hit II (bred by Trine and Allan Severinsen). and Zeaball Diawind by Fürstenball/Zardin Firfod (breed by Peter Schrøder and Bettina Qvist) as well as Codi Harrison and Katholt's Bossco by Blue Hors Don Schufro/Michellino (breed by Finn Kristensen) – all 4 are on the longlist, and this means Danish Warmblood is the breeding association with the most horses in the on the longlist before the Pan Am Games.
Danish Warmblood occupy the top of the leaderboard in "Intermediaire I" where Son of a Lady is qualified in first place followed by Zeaball Diawind, Zhaplin Langholt and Lauren Samis with Heiline's Oh Land by Goldfinder V.D.T./Diamond Hit bred. Stable Heiline and CK Sir Shimmi by Sir Donnerhall II/Kennedy (bred by Danish Derby Horse Shows ApS) ridden by Bianca Schmidt.
In the class for 7-year-old horses, Møllegårdens Fashion e. Florenz/L'Espoir (bred by Lone Christiansen) will start under Cesar Parra, who rode the horse to victory in the 6-year-old class last year, while Fashion earned bronze medal at the age of 5 under Katryna Evans.
In the 6-year-old class, Lars Petersen participate with Strike by Blue Hors St. Schufro/Blue Hors Zack (bred by Marianne Væver and Matthias Tourbier) in the same class Dreamliner by Revolution/De Niro (bred by JJ Horses) will start under Sarah Sharpe one more horse is registered as Danish in this class: G.Q. e. Grand Galaxy Win (bred by Lone Sørensen) and ridden by David Blake.
In the class for 5-year-old horses, one horse is registered for Danish Warmblood according starting lists: Lindholm's Quick Step by Quaterhit/Heslegård's Platin (bred by Stald Lindholm) and ridden by Madeleine Bendfeldt.
In the 4-year-old class, Francetto by Franklin/Sezuan appears, he is bred by Henrik Hansen and ridden by Mackenzie Peer as well as Serupgaard's Cézanne by Tørveslettens Sylvester/Blue Hors Romanov (bred by Heidi Bickham) and ridden by W***y Arts.
At Grand Prix level, as mentioned, Codi Harrison/Katholt's Bossco will appear together with Emily Miles with Java Dulce by Jazz/Deemster (bred by JJ Horses), while Allison Nemeth starts Tiko by Tailormade Temptation/Akinos (bred by Stutteri Hove) in the Intermediaire II.
Also among the championships for the young riders, we find Danish Warmblood horses on the starting lists. In the class for 14 - 18 years it is Skovlund's De Nice e. De Noir/Diamond (bred by Lise Skovlund Nissen) ridden by Jack Burwell and Hannah Montana W e. Blue Hors Doolittle/Sidney (bred by Henrik Wiborg) ridden by Ella Fruchtermann and Trust Me by Tuschinski/Carano (bred by Stald Evergreen w/Linda and Poul Erik Frederiksen ridden by Alicia Berger.
Charlotte Jorst and Codi Harrison are training with Lars Petersen, who has obtained American citizenship, and the Danish Olympic rider is starting for the first time in an American championship, on the Danish Warmblood horse Giovanni-Bell by Grand Galaxy Win / Blue Hors Don Romantic (bred by Tina and Nicolai Jepsen) in the class "Devoloping Prix St. Georges and in the same class Brian Hafner starts with Runehøj's Shiva by Sir Donnerhall II/Induc (bred by Runehøj w/Birgitte Thomsen and Sten Andersen).
