The Fall Herald is our Stallion issue.

To have your stallion listed in the stallion listing, please complete this online form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd50E0Qu2IGNg2tPCHaGSEC0etKLLvC5f0J0W5itctu_gd41Q/viewform?vc=0&c=0&w=1

If your stallion was listed in last year's issue, and there are no changes to his information, you can email me, [email protected], and request I use last year's data.

The deadline for submitting your stallion is August 1, 2022. Those owners I receive contact from, or who complete the online form will have their stallions listed.

Attention Members: Per the NFHR Bylaws, nominations for the Board of Directors are open until September 1. Please contact Nancy Newport at [email protected] for a questionnaire. To qualify, you must be:
1. An adult member in good standing and current on all dues and fees for at least two(2) consecutive years immediately prior to being a candidate for the Board;
2. An owner of an NFHR-registered Fjord Horse; and,
3. Agree to uphold and abide by the Bylaws, the Rules of Registration and Transfers, Ethics Policies,and any other policies adopted by the NFHR.

Going through some old stuff in this office and I came across this!

It was designed by the American Driving Society Inc.

It’s a front and back one large page. I always thought it was so informative, plus it features Peggy Peregrine-Spear’s beautiful gelding, Prisco, (who sadly passed in 2013).

Pretty cool, huh? Has anyone else ever seen it?

Då innmeldingsfristen var ute til årets utstilling, er det totalt meldt inn 31 hingstar. Det er 20 3-årshingstar og 11 som er eldre. Dette er svært gledeleg når ein veit at 2015 var året med lågast tal registrerte føl. I tillegg håpar ein på god deltaking i den uofisielle showklassa for 2 års hingstar fredag 4. mai.
Alle fjordhestinteresserte har difor ei stor og interessann utstilling i vente, og velkomen til Nordfjordeid !

To our Canadian Members/Subscribers: it was brought to my attention the Winter issue of the Herald had not been received by several people in Canada. I contacted our printer, who in turn contacted the mailing service used to send out our magazine. He said there was a problem with the Canadian magazines, and the Canadian post office returned them. They've now gone out and our Canadian members/subscribers should see their Winter issues (hopefully!) next week.
