Star D had a great first show. Metallically Dun It and Rebecca Duncan came home with 3rd in their working cowhorse, 2nd in their reining and 4th in their working ranch horse. Colord Gunsmoke and Kevin Duncan came home with a 9th in reining and a great first ever show for both. Now home and prepping for the next one.

Summer is not officially over yet, but as we near the end of August, it's always a time of year for reflection and excitement. Thinking about those hot days sweating in the sun, early mornings trying to get things done before the heat. Hay fields, late sunsets, swimming holes and memories. However, for those depressed that summer is over I say this: EMBRACE IT. Live your life, summer ends every year. Let yourself be excited for cool mornings, fall colors, brisk winds. Halloween. Be excited for those winter nights snug in your bed and days spent bundled up with frozen toes. Don't let it pass you by. Enjoy every minute of the ride.

💣COLT STARTING, TUNE UPS, MILES PUT ON💣
Hey folks, if you're looking for a place to send your horse with a performance horse type program while still putting the horse first, then consider giving me a shout. I start all my colts slow and take the time each individual colt needs to build a solid foundation. I don't use a cookie cutter program with gimmicks or short cuts, and tailor my methods to each horse. I strive to build a horse's confidence first and make sure all of the horses I ride are soft and correct. All horses will get to see some stuff while they're in my program, from working the flag to getting hauled to trail rides and roping practices.
I have multiple client references available. Message me for availability. Picture below of a colt I've got about 60 rides on working the flag. Thanks ya'll.

We are changing our feeding program to ensure horses in training stay in good condition and healthy. We will be feeding BlueBonnet feeds. exclusively unless owner provides feed. Horses in training need top nutrition and there's none better than Bluebonnet Feeds

Due to rising fuel, hay, feed, sawdust, and rent costs. We will be increasing monthly rates significantly in 2023. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Training per month: $900 with sweet feed from local feed store. Or $1000/ month with Blue Bonnet Omega Force.

Really nice 2yr old AQHA filly. Pretty solid sorrel with just a star 🌟. She's got the bloodlines and movement to be a reiner or do ranch horse! Right now she stands 13.1 and strings to be 15 once mature. No vices at all. Her groundwork is pretty solid, she clips, hobbles, stands tied, loads/unloads, stands quiet for the farrier, is saddle broke, and desensitized to ropes and tarps. Her one and only downfall is she just needs groceries for a couple months before she's strong enough to ride. She's a good little colt!! Papers in comments. PM for price.
