We would like to thank Anthony for an amazing presentation yesterday and thank you all for coming. As mentioned, we have a very exciting line-up for this year, Amy Newfield in May, Wendy Myers in September and Andy Roark in November. We have opened up the events for members only to RSVP. We do expect these meetings to fill up quickly so please RSVP early. We will also make another announcement when single tickets will be available. Lastly, don't forget our new referral program. Hey everyone, we are getting very excited for our upcoming meeting in February as well as our line up for the rest of the year. Don't forget to RSVP.
On another note, I see there has been some issues with renewing membership. If you are going to pay by credit card, please choose the PayPal button. You can still pay by cc without a PayPal account. The Manual/offline button is ONLY if you are going to pay by check. Also if your membership has expired, you can not "renew" it as your membership is not current to renew and you will have to sign up again for the membership. If you go to your account page, you will see no subscription established but does give the option to buy a new one. If your account says "pending" that means payment might not have gone through. On your account t page you can retry payment or abandon payment and try again. If you see "abandon" on your account page, choose that, that will remove the payment in process and have you resubmit payment again. Phew.... I hope that clears up a few things. There was a glitch with PayPal sending back the info but should be resolved now. Thank you to everyone for your patients.

Registration is now open for our 2024 Winter meeting! https://vmcc-ct.org/
You DO NOT want to miss this wonderful presenter:
Anthony Pierlioni, Veterinary Leadership Through Fresh Eyes: A social worker's approach to veterinary medicine.

Anthony is the Manger, Training & Facilitation for the world's largest veterinary organization. He joined the learning and development part of the field after years of management experience in hybrid, GP and specialty hospitals.
Anthony also has years of management experience in the field of social work, which has proven quite useful in the veterinary field. In 2023, Anthony's book, Veterinary Leadership through Fresh Eyes, A Social Worker's Approach to Veterinary Management, was published. It details his transition to the veterinary profession after years of experience in leadership roles in social work and the NCAA.
Anthony's passion is animals - particularly turtles. For years, he worked with the veterinary community during his part in developing and helping operate the Turtle Room, a non-profit organization that works to educate the public on the plight of turtles and tortoises, and also to preserve and conserve them.
