Devastating fire at Nate’s Reptile Rescue this afternoon… prior to seeing the article, I had driven past leaving the playground across the street and stomach sank seeingtwo tortoises wandering in the parking lot (then knowing there were likely other animals involved) and sooo many emergency vehicles. The building was a complete loss.. They were able to save some of the animals, but many perished in the fire. 😢

First day the whole gang is out! (I had to help most of the clutch, and lost prob 20% once I started. Maybe 90+ still left. I’m guessing we may have a good 30-50 after the first few weeks. The clutch had some underdeveloped/smaller ones who are still alive- but I assume they won’t make it long term. Survival of the fittest 💪

CPD fry

Just a wee baby from my CPD group- didn’t have them set up for breeding, so all offspring previously were likely eaten. Moved this tiny Tim and another wee one to my 5g yellow neo tank. And a random CPD egg.

Not fishes.. but still fun! Our two Dalmatian pups (1yr old) and our foster failure dobie mix on the trampoline!!
