Why do puppies get parvo?

Here’s my take: the quick answer is no.

Is there a time and place for a life jacket? Yes

All dogs can swim. Life jackets do nothing but add bulk and restrict their speed in the water.

I get it, at first some dogs can appear to struggle, kind of swimming in an upright position, lots of splashing and overall it just looks messy 😅 but the more they do it, the better they get. Sometimes I will lift up their back end as they swim to give them a little different position in the water so they can see that they are making it harder than it is 🤣 usually after the second or third time out for a swim they figure it out.

If you are on a kayak or paddle board with your buddy (on a lake or a pond) they don’t need a life jacket. Let them enjoy the freedom of being a dog. Some people think the dog needs a jacket because it has a handle on it for easier pull up if they jump off, and while that’s true, for me it’s not enough of a help that I would burden them with a life jacket for those couple of times that they need help to get back on the board or in the kayak. Just grab them by the scruff of the neck and they will pull themselves up. Easy peasy.

The only time I think it’s a good idea is on a big boat out in the ocean. God forbid the dog falls off and no one notices, having a life jacket on will keep him afloat if he has to swim for hours and hours until he is found. But honestly that’s the only time I can see using one.

They are dogs. They are made for swimming. I even had a pug that had no problem swimming with the big dogs. Actually she thought she was a lab so of course she could swim 😁

And of course there’s always going to be the random story of a dog that literally sinks or one that can’t figure out how to swim without splashing and drowning itself but overall, dogs can swim so let them.

Don’t be afraid to switch up your pets diet.

Whether that’s filling toppls with something other than what you normally feed to switching out their entire meal occasionally!

Just make sure it’s a company you trust like 🙌. They are my go to when I feel like adding some organic frozen veggies or yummy mushroom probiotic or pretty much any of their products! Their frozen Pattie’s are perfect for filling toppls!

Luckily my local carries many different brands of raw dog food so don’t forget to ask YOUR local PFU if they can order your favorite dog food 😊

Best tick spray I’ve tried so far 🙌

This is a homemade product from our own 🙌🙌

I can honestly say since I’ve been using this I have found maybe 3 or 4 ticks total out of 7 dogs! That is phenomenal. I typically find 3 or 4 per dog after each walk and I was ok with that. It’s better than poisoning them with flea and tick meds. But now..,, we have upped the game 💪💪💪💪 I’m super pumped about this stuff so I convinced Shannon to make a hundred bottles to sell 😃
