I am so pleased with the success of the Home-Bred Dutch horses at the National Championships! I was especially happy with the 4 yr old Champion, Pharaoh DG! I first saw him as a 3 yr old at our Dutch Annual Meeting and knew then that I wanted to use him with my rather refined Uphill mare. I could not be happier with our Uptown Girl WRF, as you can see.. Uptown Girl WRF seems to changing color everyday. Her Sire (Pharaoh DG) and Dam are chestnuts. She is becoming a dark liver color (except her eyes. Wonder how she will turn out.

The KWPN is the studbook with most horses competing in the Olympics this year!

The World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) made an overview of all the studbooks and breeders of the horses competing at the Olympic Games. Out of 37 WBFSH studbooks, with 73 dressage horses, 78 eventing horses, and 95 jumping horses, 45 horses are registered with the KWPN.
