At Bethel Animal Hospital, our commitment is to ensure appropriate medical care for our animal patients and offer emotional support for our clients.We are a full service veterinary clinic serving the Bethel, Maine area offering standard veterinary care as well as integrative care. We also see domestic birds, reptiles, "pocket pets" of all types, even fish and the occasional kangaroo.

:: Announcement Regarding 2025 Schedule Changes ::

Hours -
Monday 8 am - 5 pm
Tuesday 8 am - 5:30 pm
Wednesday 8 am - 5:30 pm
Thursday 8 am - 5:30 pm
Friday 8 am - 5 pm
Saturday 8 am - 12 pm
EVERY 1ST AND 3RD SAT. OF EACH MONTH ONLY!

In addition to the above changes, you will also experience some days where there is no Veterinarian available.

There may be times we are unable to see your pet for an illness during open hours and will need to refer you elsewhere if urgent care is needed. We may book out further than normal and we strongly suggest making wellness visits well in advance.

Please be patient with us as we navigate through the changes we are experiencing.

Note the above - we will now be open only two Saturdays per month, and availability will be extremely limited.

🎉 2024 was quite the year for us at the Bethel Animal Hospital 🎉

We said goodbye to Dr.Stuer, which was really hard for us and our patients.
Our newest Vet, Dr.Silvia, expanded her client base and has been a great asset to our area.
Kathy-Jo hit her 30 year mark as a member of the team!
Two staff members are on their way to receiving Vet Tech degrees.

The news doesn't stop in 2024. As most of you are aware, Dr.Schubert is retiring this Friday. We will miss her, and know you will too, but wish her the best in her next adventures.

In the next couple of months we will be introducing our newest Veterinarian. She's wonderful, and we think she is going to fit in to our practice and community perfectly. We can't wait for everyone to meet her.

There are some changes with our schedule, so please see the next announcement post for that information.

Thanks for letting us be a part of your pet's lives, and we can't wait to see you in 2025.

Friday 11/29 Open 8am-5pm with limited staffing and availability.
Saturday 11/30 Open 8am-12pm with limited staffing and availability.

On Friday and Saturday we will be seeing scheduled wellness visits. Please note that our sick visit availability is extremely limited right now. You may be asked to seek care at PetMedic Urgent Care in Portland or Animal Emergency Clinic of Mid-Maine in Lewiston.
