We heard it was National Day of the Horse yesterday!!!

What does that mean?

Introducing our “most inquired about” for 2024…

Meet Gypsy! 🖤

Gypsy is a miniature horse, 15/16 yrs old. She is only 36” high at withers, making her our tiniest at the farm. She was bought by owners Kim Bowers and Karen McConnell as a joint Christmas present for their grandkids. 🎄 (best grandparents ever!)

Gypsy enjoys time with family, playing in the snow, and hanging with her friends out in the open field, which we refer to as living “the life”.

While she has called Pine Ridge Farm home for the last couple years she recently moved across the street and has brought so many smiles to those who drive by. We love all the messages with questions and stories of the joy she brings to your families. Continue sharing! It’s a lot of work but you remind us how special our little farm is and for that we are so very thankful!

It was a beautiful day for a wonderful cause as our Pine Ridge Farm family rode 7 miles in the 20th Anniversary Pink Ribbon ride in the park. Their sponsored ride goes to patients battling breast cancer and we are proud of our group for doing their part in raising money and awareness. 🩷🎀🩷

After observing our lesson horses as they strolled into the shared pasture….they really are the most gentle girls ever, but they are kind of popular and absolutely best friends. 😂

Did I mention we offer lessons??? Come meet these lovely girls for yourself. 🥰🥰 Rapture is our gorgeous buckskin with a champion bloodline and Drama is our retired thoroughbred racehorse. They are pretty fancy and can accommodate both English and Western styles.

Today we shine a SPOTLIGHT on Emelie Burnett, our Pine Ridge Farm owner and operator. What started as a dream of providing affordable and accessible opportunities for everyone has become a reality in the community of Hanover Township in the heart of Bethlehem PA. Here, Emelie trains horses, provides lessons in both Western and English disciplines, as well as, offers boarding and leasing services. As a youth Emelie worked her way up from a farm hand, horse trainer and later as a veterinarian technician, where she gained experience in equine medical care and rehabilitation. Emelie’s skilled in creating healthy and happy horses. Most uniquely, Emelie has a special gift in connecting people with horses. For those who lease a Pine Ridge Farm horse the partnering process is one she personally guides. She has matched countless undeniable connections with her intuition. One might say it’s her best trait. ❤️

On behalf of Emelie, we are so glad you are here. We hit 1000 followers in August and thank everyone who invited others to join us as we share opportunities in leasing, lessons, and just the joyful moments here at our sweet little farm. Meet Chili!! He is a 17 year old thoroughbred who is very social and loves people,. He used to be a show jumper but now enjoys trail rides and chasing cow. Chili has been at the farm for 1 year and 3 months and is boarded by Madison, his owner. As you can see from the pictures, Chili and Madison certainly take best dressed at the farm. ❤️🩷💙

It’s been an exciting week for the equestrian world! We celebrated Pine Ridge Ribbons, Olympic Medals and Snoop Dogg has entered the horse world, with the help of his friend. Snoop Dogg Martha Stewart 🥈🐎🇺🇸
