Mighty Pawz Special operations and Humane society was Assisting Cricket wildlife today. With enclosures damaged from the storms over night..... we removed 3 trees that caused damage ... set Up Tarps on buildings damaged and will be returning tomorrow to assist with rebuilding the enclosures and Fencing..Thank you to our dedicated volunteers.....

We need your help!!!!

Folks, we can no longer sustain the road closures with no notices or any information from UGI or its contractors again. Today we are impacted with road closures , from August 11th to current date today November 3rd , 4 weeks planned .construction is Now 12 weeks ... Not 1 person is taking any Responsibility Ugi does not return calls on any of this Project .... we have lost 94.89% of sales officially in 3 months , now our private business is impacted fully Along with the Humane society.....

I have called ugi again and no person or department takes these calls or issues up.... no person or business or non profit should be effected by another business.. because of this an entire community is impacted .... the Animal community!!!!!!

We deeply regret having to make this announcement, in August of 2025 Ugi started a gas replacement of pipe lines located on stefko Blvd. The project was to last 4 weeks ... it did not Finish untill the 2nd week of October 2025,

Unfortunately with no updates and traffic lanes down to 1 lane for 10 weeks double the estimate time ugi provided , we had lost nearly 80% of clients to the private kennels.... which directly supported the Humane society.. we have reached out to UGI with no response
what so ever ...

This will impact emergency transportation , and responses from our special operations.

The Facility will no longer be responding to strays , and or any animal emergencies starting Monday November 3rd 2025 .... This includes Humane Society Police and cruelty complaints...

The overall operations cost roughly $48,000.00 per month of operational costs ...

Due to the pipeline and loss of customers we are unable to continue operations...

We will be working with local rescues to transfer custody of the aniamls and having adoption events.

We have had the privilege to work beside some of the best rescues in the area and beyound...

As information changes we will update everyone,
our team thanks you for the opportunity and experience...

**********Update Lady was Adopted *************

We are Pleased to introduce Lady a 9 yo Havanese , Lady is now groomed and temperment checked and up for adoption, she was abandoned at our facility 3 weeks ago....

If you would like to meet this young lady who is very distinguished, she does well around children , cats and other dogs.... but would really love a solid lap to get pampered on....

Found Female pitbull Intact, No chip , in the area of exon gas station route 145 laurys station , North Whitehall Township .... she was treated at Valley central for what appears to be wounds from either being attacked or in a fight with another animal.... she currently is being treated....
