What an amazing turnout yesterday was at our 1st Annual Paws & Pizza Palooza at Cappetta's Italian Imports Pizza and Catering in West Haven CT .

Who would have thought reaching out to Reliable Fence CT to install a few fences for Team Animal Rescue, Inc. So some of our more difficult dogs could get the 1 on 1 homes they deserved but yet still keep the public safe, would have turned out into such a beautiful event and day for the tougher dogs we choose to rescue.

Thank you Reliable Fence CT Deven and Dominic and Robyn for always having the best prices, getting the job done quickly and professionally and always keeping our misfit dogs safe and helping the animals that you run into on your jobs, You guys have the biggest hearts for animals. Everyone should get their fences from such a great company, you will not be disappointed .... Don't forget to ask for the pooch priority program at Reliable Fence

To all the teams that went head-to-head to eat a 30 in pizza in 30 mins at Cappetta's Italian Imports Pizza and Catering God bless all of you - We have no idea how you consumed that amount of food but it was for a good cause, and we are so Thankful ... You guys Rocked

Filomena Rufrano the kissing booth and our logo signs you made we all loved them you are so crafty the time you put into that was amazing and each one of us took our plaques at the end of the event we loved them Thank you . Florence DeVito and Debbie Johnson Caseria and Jennifer Torello and Lisa and Holly Allen Wow wow wow the gift basket raffle table was so much fun you ladies rocked out with the Gift baskets - The smiles of the winners were priceless everyone had such a good time at your booth " you guys raised the most money at your table " Thank you from the bottom of our hearts .

Cheryl Mongillo my VP, My ride or die for saving the worst of the worst that turn out to be the best, Do you know the Blue jar and you walking around brought in almost 1k in 30 mins - Thank you for all you do .

Thank you to the animal control officers that support the work we do and showed up to support Thank you It is so hard to walk a day in our shoes being a ACO or a Rescue ---times have changed so much but we still do the best we can , Thank you for all you do

Jessica French special thanks to you for picking up a cat call that Reliable Fence CT called us about That turned into almost 30 cats in need from fixing them to prego street cats to babies you were determined to save the day and you did we cannot thank you enough

Sound, "Your DJ for any Occasion" for accepting our event last minute you were great, and we can't wait to book you for the next event Thank you Singletary for making us the T-shirts last minute look at everyone rocking the Shirts . Thank you, Chris Arsenault, for making the wonderful drone footage of our sanctuary so people could really see our grounds that we have for all these lost souls your video was amazing and so was that beautiful Turtle you saved on Saturday morning. Thank you Stanley for doing security for us you are always so great and keep an eye on everything

And to everyone I left out because there were so many more helpers, I didn't know so I cant tag - such as the woman who did all the filming and streaming Thank you for donating your day to a great cause

Friends we raised $5433.00 for Team Animal Rescue, Inc. in 3 hours

wooooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooo All the rescue dogs and cats that have some issues and are not easily placed appreciate your kindness , You guys are amazing - Next year will be bigger and better cant wait for June 2025

Update Theo is Adopted

Theo is in need of a new home or rescue.
He is a 2yo Platinum French Bull dog.
Theo was purchased by a breeder as a pup to a 1st time dog owner
Theo was super spoiled and then a baby came. Theo did not like the baby and went after the baby. So Theo was put into boarding.
Theo's Time is almost up - The family cannot pay for boarding much longer and they cannot take him back.
They need help
Theo is fixed - he is up to date on all vaccines once he gets to know you he is very puppy like and the sweetest boy ever and he is a talker.
Theo does good with other animals unless there is food and toys around, he can be a bit protective
Theo does not like small kids - He holds a grudge because a baby took his favorite person away (his daddy 😢)
Theo is excellent on a leash he is good in a crate and potty trained
and he eats dog food now instead of human food

Our Senior Boy Chewy acted like he was a puppy in the snow today.
He had so much fun, He had the biggest smile running around playing.

We Just want to give a Huge Thank you to Alysha Marie & Lisa Cyr for the hard work they put in over the Holidays to get all these amazing donations for all the dogs and Cats here.
We could not believe how much fun stuff they Brought to these animals at the Sancuary .
Not only did they deliver all these amazing Items, They helped us with an adoption, loved on the cats in the cat house and even helped us with a difficult dog and helped us test him and do a photo shoot with him ..
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts you have made the days of the underdogs and cats a little brighter.

Really Proud of these 2 hounds 💙🐾💙

They are Both Brothers and they were abused for a long time , they lived outside in a dark Shed 24 / 7 😢 shown no love 💔

Feral is exactly what they were a few months ago they had to be carried out of the shelter

This picture makes me smile 😃
They had so much fun together in the snow
They both would love 1 on 1 fosters or a home who loves hounds

Red ❤ is , shy and sweet and would do great with a less busy house and adults

Lucky 🖤 fun and goofy and getting so much more confident by the day

Fully vetted, no aggression, good with dogs
Needs a more experienced home or handler
Not for first time adopters
