Brewster
In another week foster Brewster will be with us for 8 months! His broken bones have healed and he is much more sociable than he was when he came to us. But, he still has a ways to go and is looking for the perfect home to continue his journey. We believe he likes females more than males. We know that he plays the bitey cheek game really hard. We know he loves to walk and run in the yard. Introductions to new pups will need to be slow, but we think he’s making progress there. And he absolutely loves to sleep with his human! Do you have room for one more, and the patience Brewster needs? If so, you’ll find the adoption Application at nbrescue.com under “Adopt”.
Koda
This is Koda. He is still looking for his furever home. Koda is going on 22 months old so he still has a lot of puppy in him. Koda has been kenneled for much of his life so he is looking forward to a large yard and a playmate or more! He is currently in a kennel but spends his days with a playmate in a large enclosure and has been a great player. Koda was recently groomed and his beautiful coat is coming back nicely. Koda is neutered and up to date on shots. If you have room in your pack for Koda you may apply at nbrescue.com under ‘adoption process’. Reply to this post if you have questions! Koda is currently near the Lehigh Valley of PA.
Koda
Koda is still looking for his furever home! This sweet boy is waiting for a Husky Savvy family to take him home. His is handsome, friendly, playful, and all Husky. He can be mouthy but listens to verbal corrections. He has been evaluated, trained, and described as your typical knucklehead Husky! Help us find this 21 month old boy a home! Neutered and up to date on shots. To apply for Koda go to nbrescue.com under adoption process.
For a 2yo husky shepherd mix foster Domer really enjoys the water 😂. He's UTD and looking for a forever home preferably near water 💦.
Brewster at the Paw Prints on the Canal
🐾Brewster is up for adoption and will be at the Paw Prints on the Canal today! He will be there early and his length of time there will depend on his tolerance for all the excitement. Brewster has been great with people but is selective with other pups until he gets to know them!
⚠️We’ll use our “safety first” techniques with Brewster which will include meeting people but no other pups today! ⚠️
🏠Brewster is still looking for his forever family! We hope to see you at the event today!

Domer is a yr and a half husky shepherd mix. He loves to play and is looking for a permanent family. He loves his foster brothers and says it would be pretty cool to have his own family.
Super handsome Koda is STILL looking for a home or foster home. This sweet boy is currently being boarded near the Lehigh Valley in PA. He needs to get into a home and continue to improve, as all 17 month old Huskies need to! If interested, or if you want more info, just reply to this post!
Koda is still looking for his furever home, or a foster home, or a foster to adopt home! Any question about whether Koda is good with other pups was put to rest today. Thanks to Anna for being the Guinea pig today. Koda wanted to play for the 1st quarter mile but Anna said we’re in work/walk mode and Koda listened. Brewster
Brewster is STILL looking for his forever home! This smallish (52.5lbs) boy has bonded well with his foster siblings and his foster dad. He has completely healed from his accident (hit by a car) nearly 3 months ago. In spite of losing his tail, he is a handsome boy. He would do well with a Husky savvy family and a playmate, or more! A fenced in yard would be a plus! He loves to run. To apply for Brewster or any HTHNBR foster, go to nbrescue.com under dogs for adoption to fill out an application.
Koda enjoying the countryside. He is looking for a jogging partner and someone to continue his training. He is a beautiful, sweet, energetic pup!!
Brewster
9 weeks after he was hit by a car, and two months into foster care, Brewster continues his remarkable recovery and journey! Brewster is looking for a permanent home with an active, Husky savvy family, hopefully with a canine sibling or two to play with! Due to his injuries, Brewster lost his tail but that has not slowed him down. He is a sweet boy once he gets to know you and now enjoys sleeping with his foster dad plus whoever else can fit on the bed of his 4 foster siblings. He loves his walks and is up to about 6 miles a day. If you’re interested in Brewster or any HTHNBR foster, you may apply at nbrescue.com, under dogs for adoption.
Brewster stretching his legs!
Just a quicky showing Brewster in good recovery mode! He’s the one dragging the short leash! Brewster is just over 8 weeks since being hit by a car. He is ready for his forever home and, as you can see, would prefer an active playmate!
Super Sunday
50 days after being hit by a car, breaking his pelvis and fracturing two vertebrae, Brewster thinks that any day he can run free for a bit is a Super Day! 3 days before Valentine’s Day we think Brewster got a sweetheart of a deal! He got to go for 3-5 minutes today as a start, and he’ll be looking for his forever home to run all day long soon!

7 weeks ago tomorrow Brewster was hit by a car, breaking his pelvis and two vertebrae. That led to the loss of his tail. He has been on bed rest since, or as best a Husky can do. Now he is starting to get out and, as you can see, he is getting along just fine with the pack! He is a sweet, sweet boy who is going to make some family, and hopefully some canine siblings, a great companion! He still has a bit of puppy in him with the knucklehead things they do, but he is attending training and is getting better every day!

Another milestone for Brewster today! This was Brewster‘s first pack walk, 5 1/2 weeks after being hit by a car. Due to being crated for most of that time, he has not had a lot of interaction with his foster siblings. Now he is out more and in close proximity but it hasn’t been perfect. This is how we work on that! We even had a snack break at the turnaround. That went well too!
Brewster is approximately 2 years old and still has a lot of puppy energy (and habits). As he continues to heal we will lengthen his walks, and work on that puppy energy! Thanks to Anna & Hawkeye for volunteering to be the guinea pigs (or guinea Huskies) for this walk!

Brewster - making progress!
5 weeks ago Brewster was hit by a car. What we knew was that he had a broken pelvis. What we learned after we picked him up was that he had 2 fractured vertebrae. That ended up costing him his tail, which was amputated three weeks ago. He was neutered at the same time.
His progress has been remarkable. While he has been confined to his crate a great deal, he would rather be out of the crate, either snoozing on the kitchen floor, or taking short walks nowadays. Brewster is your typical high energy husky with some puppy like habits that we are working on (mouthing). Brewster is scheduled to start training with Passion 4 Paws on Feb 5th. Other than that I find him to be sweet and ready to go. We are also working on his socialization with other dogs, but at the moment he might be better as an only child, but stay tuned, that could change!
