We are a nonprofit 501c3 northern breed dog rescue. We work in eastern PA, parts of MD and southern NJ. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization.

The dogs we take in are fostered in the homes of our volunteers until they are adopted to approved applicants. HTHNBR is a non-profit organization as recognized by the Internal Revenue Service pursuant to Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

Good morning everyone!!
Bean and Bowie will be making their first public appearance here!!
So far we have sunshine for our event today but it is rain or shine!
This is a dog and kid friendly event, with plenty of room down by the river!!
Come early as the parking lot fills up quick!!

🐾 Throwback to Last Year’s Pack Walk! 🐾

Nothing like a pack walk with our rescue family! Last year, we were thrilled to reunite with some of our alumni: Oden the adventurous Husky, Harvey the spunky Pomsky, Frosty the fluffy Samoyed, and Kodi the gentle Husky. They were joined by Chandler the friendly Beagle and Chubbers the lovable Corgi, making it a true pack of personalities! 💙🐶

Seeing these happy pups exploring, playing, and bonding was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. Thanks to our adopters and volunteers who make moments like this possible! Follow us to join our next adventure and find out how you can support these incredible dogs!

The Woo Woo King! 🐾 This 3-year-old Siberian husky is ready to find his forever home, and he’s got quite the story! 💙 Brewster has been in foster care for almost a year, and after a full recovery from a car accident (don’t worry, he’s unstoppable now 💪), he’s eager to find a loving family. Brewster’s got the whole package: ✨ Beautiful blue eyes that’ll steal your heart ✨ A stubby tail (it’s adorable, we promise!) ✨ Plenty of energy for walks, runs, and adventures ✨ AND he’s the king of “woo woo” — his own little husky song 🎶 But don’t let his energy fool you, Brewster’s also a major cuddler and would love to snuggle up on the couch with you after a long day. Brewster

In another week foster Brewster will be with us for 8 months! His broken bones have healed and he is much more sociable than he was when he came to us. But, he still has a ways to go and is looking for the perfect home to continue his journey. We believe he likes females more than males. We know that he plays the bitey cheek game really hard. We know he loves to walk and run in the yard. Introductions to new pups will need to be slow, but we think he’s making progress there. And he absolutely loves to sleep with his human! Koda

Update 8/25/24: Koda is pending adoption! 🤞 This is Koda. He is still looking for his furever home. Koda is going on 22 months old so he still has a lot of puppy in him. Koda has been kenneled for much of his life so he is looking forward to a large yard and a playmate or more! He is currently in a kennel but spends his days with a playmate in a large enclosure and has been a great player. Koda was recently groomed and his beautiful coat is coming back nicely. Brewster at the Paw Prints on the Canal

🐾Brewster is up for adoption and will be at the Paw Prints on the Canal today! He will be there early and his length of time there will depend on his tolerance for all the excitement. Brewster has been great with people but is selective with other pups until he gets to know them! ⚠️We’ll use our “safety first” techniques with Brewster which will include meeting people but no other pups today! ⚠️ 🏠Brewster is still looking for his forever family! Domer is a yr and a half husky shepherd mix. He loves to play and is looking for a permanent family. He loves his foster brothers and says it would be pretty cool to have his own family.

Super handsome Koda is STILL looking for a home or foster home. This sweet boy is currently being boarded near the Lehigh Valley in PA. He needs to get into a home and continue to improve, as all 17 month old Huskies need to! If interested, or if you want more info, just reply to this post!

Brewster

Brewster is STILL looking for his forever home! This smallish (52.5lbs) boy has bonded well with his foster siblings and his foster dad. He has completely healed from his accident (hit by a car) nearly 3 months ago. In spite of losing his tail, he is a handsome boy. He would do well with a Husky savvy family and a playmate, or more!
