Leanne, Ash and Clover say safety first! During our cold laser therapy treatments, it’s important for not only us to wear safety goggles, but the patient as well. Laser safety goggles protect our eyes by blocking a specific, potentially harmful wavelength of light that is emitted from the laser machine. We have a variety of sizes here at the Animal Therapy Center to ensure a proper, snug fit!

🎃👻 Halloween is almost here at the ATC and we want to see your pets in costume! Bring your pets to their appointments this week dressed up for Halloween—or if you can’t make it in, send us their costume pictures at [email protected] to have your pet featured on our socials! Let’s celebrate with some spooky (and adorable) fun — we can’t wait to see all the creative costumes! 🎃🐾

Today, we’re starting with our staff pets!
Meet Jaime’s cat, Nandor the Relentless, the merc with a meow. He's rocking his Deadpool costume, ready to pounce on any villain…or maybe just a stray piece of kibble. Cuddly, deadly, and definitely plotting something, he's here to bring the perfect mix of chaos and cuteness to your day!

Last but not least, meet Jaime, our senior therapist!

If you've visited the Animal Therapy Center over the past 9 years, you’ve probably had the pleasure of meeting Jaime! She’s been an essential part of the team since 2015, bringing warmth and expert care to every pet she treats. After becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2011, Jaime went on to earn her CCRP from the University of Tennessee and also holds certifications in k-taping, myofascial techniques, and pain management. She also serves on the Animal Science Occupational Advisory Board for Lehigh Career & Technical institute, ensuring the next generation of veterinary professionals have the best training possible

Beyond her skills, Jaime keeps things fun! She’s our resident Halloween pumpkin carving expert, the center’s beloved cat whisperer, and always knows how to lighten the mood. She also leads as our manager, keeping everything running smoothly with dedication and heart. She lives with her cats Nandor the Relentless and Maeby that love to keep her on her toes.

Thank you for everything, Jaime! Happy Vet Tech Appreciation Week to all the vet techs out out there!

Today we highlight another one of our awesome CVT’s! Meet Matt!
Matt earned his Bachelor of Arts from West Virginia University in 1999. After returning to his hometown of Quakertown, PA, he balanced his roles as a substitute teacher in the Palisades School District and a veterinary nurse. His journey into animal rehabilitation truly began when his family pet, Webster the Boston Terrier, experienced a spinal stroke and became paralyzed in his hind end. Helping Webster recover was a transformative experience that sparked Matt's passion for this field.

In 2003, he enhanced his skills by completing a canine rehabilitation course through the University of Tennessee/Northeast Seminars, and he’s been a dedicated rehab nurse ever since. In 2022, he joined the Animal Therapy Center, where he loves helping patients regain their strength and mobility.

When he's not working his magic with animals, Matt enjoys quality time with his wife, Vanessa, their daughter Laylonny, and their spirited Brittany, Elmwood. The family thrives on outdoor adventures, whether hiking, camping, rock hounding, or enjoying music together.

Thank you for all your hard work and dedication Matt!

Please join us in welcoming Leanne to the Animal Therapy Center!

We are thrilled to introduce Leanne as the newest addition to our team! She brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for animal care, having graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Environmental Studies, focusing on teaching. Leanne further honed her expertise at the Vet Tech Institute of Pittsburgh, earning her CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician) in 2019.

Leanne's love for animals has been a driving force throughout her life, and we’re excited to see her bring that passion to our center. When she’s not caring for your furry friends, you can find her spending time with her golden retriever, Teagan, or enjoying hobbies like reading, writing, fitness, and even Historical European Fencing!

We’re excited to have her on board and can’t wait for you all to meet her!
