Check out Ms. Grace enjoying our clean, warm pool! 💧Just like the underwater treadmill, it uses warmth, buoyancy and resistance of water in a controlled environment. It’s low impact and can enhance cardiovascular fitness 💪🏻 Swimming isn’t always appropriate, and can put extra torque on the spine, so we have to be careful what patients we put in the pool. Our doctor can let you know whether underwater treadmill (we have 2!) or swimming would be beneficial for your pet. We do have lots of great swimmers for fun and fitness!
Cold weather is coming! Have you made plans to keep your dog fit and active? Dogs that are only 20% overweight are 5x as likely to suffer from arthritis or other mobility challenges 🤯 Don’t let the pounds pack on this winter. Give us a call to set up a comprehensive evaluation with our veterinarian, who can design a nutrition and exercise plan appropriate for your loved one 🐾💙 610-865-4348

In today’s spotlight is Heather 🐶
Heather came to us after having TPLO surgery back in December. Her first 6 weeks of therapy consisted of laser treatment and hydrotherapy. After having her medical progress exam with our veterinarian, she was able to switch to land based exercises for the last 6 weeks and just graduated last weekend 🥲
We will miss this fun spunky girl, but we are all proud of the progress she has made the past 12 weeks with us!
Good luck on your future endeavors Heather!

In today’s spotlight is Monster!
He has been walking the underwater treadmill since October to help with his arthritis. With this treatment plan he has been able to become more mobile at home and feel more comfortable 🐶
Keep up the great work Monster!
🌟Winston’s Story🌟
Winston’s journey started at the Animal Therapy Center towards the end of last summer. Both him and his brother Ernie were diagnosed DM.
Both him and Ernie come consistently for walking in the underwater treadmill and acupuncture!
Even with therapy, Winston is slowly digressing, which is why he came in today to get fitted to his #walkinwheels cart ☺️
We are all so happy Winston can use his “motorcycle” to keep up with his brother and mom on their daily adventures!
We love seeing our patients look so happy, and it is one of the many reasons why we love doing what we do ❤️

This boy has progressed really well the past 12 weeks of therapy, moving up to 2mph in the treadmill 💪🏼 and was able to graduate out of our program 🎓
Murphy came to us after having an ACL repair on his right knee. His therapy plan consisted of laser therapy and hydrotherapy twice weekly.
Good luck on your future endeavors Murphy!

As we head into the New Year, We want to reminisce on what 2021 had to offer!
This past year has been a challenge and we are so proud that we are still able to continue to help many pets strive to get better 💪🏼
We’ve helped many pets get stronger after surgery or to medically manage an injury. We’ve helped our geriatric patients feel better and challenged those who need to stay fit!
We’ve celebrated birthdays & graduations. And we shared in the grief of those who’ve passed ❤️
We’ve met many new faces this year and appreciate those who’ve been with us for years!
We are proud to be a part of your pet’s journey ☺️
