With great sadness, Lola - my sweet baby girl - crossed the rainbow bridge last night at age 2 1/2 years old 😢😢 Mysterious high fever and all the vets at UGA emergency clinic couldn’t find a cause to fix. She went into shock 12 hours after she got there, and we had to make the difficult decision to free her from her failed body. Fly free my sweet love - you were such a special good girl 💕💕😢😢😢. We all miss you terribly.

Up early in anticipation of Lola’s ultrasound today! I don’t see any signs yet, but at 3 weeks along (if she is), that’s not surprising.

Lola feels the need to run around the backyard and trigger all the motion sensor lights on when they take their last potty run at night. She comes right back inside knowing her work is done for the day lol

I had to say goodbye to my girl Sophie today. A short illness took her down in a matter of days....she was my first English golden, and the matriarch of the house. Fly free, my sweet girl....... we will all miss your fuzzy face and the love you gave us for almost 12 years 💕💕
