We are currently hiring for a PT Groomer position. Could become FT position in the near future .
* Must work Saturdays other days are flexible.
* Must have grooming experience.
* Must have love and patience for animals also possess strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
* Be able to bathe animals, use clippers and shears (including guards and thinning shears) to groom, use brushes and combs to remove knots, clip and grind nails, and clean ears (including removing hair from inside ears).
* Must own and maintain basic grooming equipment (at least a clipper & blades).
* Commission based on experience.

Reminder...Flea season is here. Please treat your pets.

Be careful when using Frontline topical treatments...fleas seem to be becoming immune to them. The other brands seemed to be fine.

As always consult your veterinarian about the best option for your pets. Also please let us know before bringing your pet to our shop if you suspect they may have fleas. Thank you and have a Pawsome fall!!!

Reminder...Flea season is starting. Please treat your pets. We have heard very good results from Seresto collars and they last for about 6 months. You can buy them at most local pet stores and chewy.com. Just watch out for counterfeits (if the deal seems too good to be true it probably is). Be careful when using Frontline topical treatments...fleas seem to be becoming immune to them. The other brands seemed to be fine.

As always consult your veterinarian about the best option for your pets. Also please let us know before bringing your pet to our shop if you suspect they may have fleas. Thank you and have a Pawsome fall!!!

Update...Louie was found and spent a few days at Peacable Kingdom. His owner has bad eyesight at night so I delivered him to his house tonight. Thank you everyone for your concern!

Louie is one of our customers and he is missing from his home in the neighborhood behind Valley Plaza on Catasauqua Rd. He is 14 years old and has a growth on his abdomen. Please PM me if you have seen him. Thank you!

Hiring shop help for Fridays and Saturdays. Hours are 9 - 5. Duties include cleaning up "dog messes", washing towels, making shampoo, cleaning self-wash rooms, general cleaning and helping check in and check out dogs including putting on their collars and leashes. Must love, be able to handle, and be comfortable around all breeds and sizes of dogs and cats. Possibly more days will be available in the future. Please send a private message if interested. As the holidays get closer and closer we get busier and busier. We recommend calling very soon for grooming appointments. With the increase in the operating expenses necessary to maintain our high level of service quality and growing staff we have found it necessary to increase our grooming charges. This will be on an individual bases. Our prices where always based on the size and coat condition of your pet. The minimum charge for small grooming dogs will now be $55. Some dogs have grown since their first visit but their charges remained the same. We will be increasing those charges to the appropriate amount for their size. If the increase is more than $5 we will inform you of the change the next time you pay for grooming services.

Anyone that normally receives the $10 senior discount on Wednesdays will still receive the discount.

We want to thank our customers for their patients during our continuing growing pains. Especially the past few months. We all have been dealing with some extremely tuff losses...both pets and human. The past week has been hard because we were under staffed. We are very sorry that it took longer for you to get your pets back. We will not rush anyones pet and risk injuring them. We have a new grooming room currently under construction to make it possible to hire another groomer and eventually another bather and office person. Hopefully this will help everyone's pet get home quicker. Also we would like remind everyone about our policy asking only one family in our lobby at a time. This is not only about germs. It is also about safety for you and your pet. Occasionally there is a dog that doesn't get along with other dogs or may be aggressive to both other dogs and humans. Thank you so much and have a pawsome week!!!

Update...power is back on but our phone and internet are still down.

Good morning! Unfortunately a power outage at our shop is forcing us to close today. We sent a message to anyone that had a grooming
appointment today. We are not able to see our scheduling system so we do not know if anyone had a self-wash appointment. Thank you for understanding and we hope your power is on and you have a pawsome day!
