What do you love about being an ACO?
As a retired paramedic/firefighter this job is a way for me to continue to be able to respond to emergencies and interact with the public.

Most memorable shelter animal & why?
I am really proud of a draft horse named Tinkerbell that our team successfully placed with a rescue. This case taught me about the power of the horse rescue community. I was truly humbled how much help we had at our door with just a few phone calls to some local horse owners.

What are your hobbies?
My wife and I have been showing labradors in AKC confirmation for about 10 years now. Some of our puppies have been featured on Good Morning America, the Jimmy Fallon show and in the Wall Street Journal.

Tell us about your family?
My wife Jessica and I have 5 kids ranging in age from 13 to 6months old.

Would you like to add anything?
I am an active advocate for first responders who are being treated for PTSD. I want my fellow officers to make sure that they take care of their mental and physical health. My phone is always on if you are struggling and want to learn about what resources are available.
