How it started vs how it's going. Apep, a mojave highway, paired with Payton, a scaleless head pastel yellow belly or gravel possible het pied axanthic... it's a mouthful but they should make some amazing babies. Breeding season has started here at O Balls!

We would like to thank everyone that came out to the Davenport Show me reptile show yesterday. The show looked a little different for us with me gone on a delivery of snakes and racks down to the St Louis area, but the wife and kids held it down and had a great time. Can't wait till the next show we're able to vend, so I can be there.

We cleaned out cages yesterday and after selling a couple of our adults and are import project going to another local breeder, we're making progress on reducing our numbers. We also took a look at our pied clutch and unfortunately two of the four remaining eggs had gone bad and had to be disposed of as well. That leaves us with two healthy looking eggs with good veins that we are hoping we'll make it the rest of the way. We will keep things updated as we go. If you're interested in any adult breeder size snakes, reach out to us please.

Had a customer who bought this beautiful black pastel ball python from us earlier this spring reach out a little while back about getting a new enclosure. I advised him to reach out to Chris Blocker at Night Rider Reptiles for a new enclosure and boy did Chris deliver! Always love getting updates on animals that we produce.

So our first piebald clutch could be doing much better. Looks like we lost four eggs, definitely did not smell the best. Was able to get those cleared out and candle the other eggs. One of them has really good veins, two of them had okay to minimal veins, one barely had any. But those four eggs still look healthy so onward we go.

Danyi was super defensive of her eggs, but we were able to get them into a tub for the incubator without getting bit. GO US! Unfortunately one egg had ok-decent veins, but the other 7 were very weak with veins. As always, we will incubate until we know for sure.

Danyi is dropping eggs at this moment. She is a normal het pied, and was paired with Lt. Dan, a pied possible leopard.
