The Gray Matter is looking pretty good, but does have a little kink in the back end... another day or so and it can join it's siblings in the egg box instead of the deli cup.

Update on the clutch from Bondurant, enchi pewter (cinnamon pastel) to Wafflestl the cinnamon champagne.

Sad news is the pastel gray matter passed away about 12 hours after coming out of the egg.

Hopeful news, the Gray matter had a big yolk sack still attached, and after speaking with some other breeders, we tied off the umbilical chord, and a few hours later we're able to cut the chord and things are looking positive for the little fella, but we are not out of the woods yet.

One snake is still in the egg, and appears to be a cinnamon and very healthy as best as we can see.

The final snake is all out of the egg, washed off, and in a fresh egg box on paper towels. It appears to be either a pewter enchi or cinnamon enchi, but we need to wait for it to shed to know for sure.

Babies from the cinnamon enchi to Cinnamon Champagne. #4 has us confused so far as looks super light, also showing shark mouth and eye deformity. Will see what's going on when they all climb out.

As a professional python breeder and owner of O Balls Ball Pythons, I find this portrayal deeply troubling and believe it constitutes animal abuse.

The depiction of an emaciated snake in your advertisement is not only insensitive but also ethically reprehensible. By profiting from the exploitation of an animal in such a neglected condition, Vans sends a harmful message to consumers about the treatment of living beings.

As a reputable company, Vans has a responsibility to promote ethical standards in its advertising. This includes ensuring that all representations of animals align with principles of responsible care and respect for their well-being. The use of an emaciated ball python in your advertisement undermines these principles and may perpetuate misconceptions about proper animal husbandry.

I strongly urge Vans to immediately cease the use of such imagery in your marketing campaigns. Furthermore, I request clarification on Vans' policies regarding the ethical treatment of animals in advertising and any corrective actions planned to address this issue.

So Waffles has given us 4 eggs so far, but still has one in her. We pulled the 4, and gave her a water soak in a warm tub to try and help move along #5. Hopefully it will be making it's way out overnight. These are due to hatch on August 3rd!
