We did this same post in July and got some great responses so we figured why not try it again. Due to the last post, we now have distribution in Arizona.

To all of our loyal customers out there, let us know if you would like to do a barrel pick. Get with your local grocery stores, liquor stores or whiskey clubs, and we can try to make it happen. We are quickly expanding into different states and would love to work with you.

Gotta love it.

8 year 3 month Kentucky barrels are in! Proofs were not similar to the samples sent. All listed below.

MSRP is 77. Same profile mentioned prior but wayyy more approachable than the higher proof samples. More oak on this as well.

BARREL UPDATE: You spoke, we sort of listened....

11 year Beam was out but we got 8 year 2 month with better pricing.

We have 4 casks on the way. 130 proof range. SRP is around $77. Higher proof and cheaper than the company's own iconic cask strength offering.

I enjoyed these casks. Little nutty but has the dusty oak and cherry of old Bookers (2015 and prior).

On a final note, if someone wants to blend a cask with a Bardstown cask to make their own cask strength OG Noah's Mill, I won't say no.

We are looking for you input on our next set of casks!

Option 1: We source around 9 year MGP 21% rye bourbon (not the low cask strength ones from a while back). 115ish proof range. We can retail around $67 on the shelf. We'd get around 8 barrels of this.

Option 2: We source around 11 year Kentucky bourbon (Clermont hint hint). Mid 120's cask strength, maybe we get lucky with a few over 130. We can retail this around $99 on the shelf. We'd get around 4 barrels of this.

If you're a retailer or group interested in either, we would really appreciate your input!

7.5ish year Bardstown Bourbon Co barrels are in hand and the first sample sets went out yesterday.

I'm quite impressed with these. I believe they are about at their peak. Honestly think these may need cooler climate aging to get well over 10 years old. They are wonderful and balanced right now with the oak and spirit.

Proofs are ranging from 123 to 124.2

We have another round of 7.5 year Bardstown bourbon company 21% and 36% rye bourbons on the way. 4 barrels total this round.

Expect proofs to be between 125 and 128. Yield around 150 bottles. Retail cost is $65.

These picks will be on a first come basis due to their demand. We are currently around $10 cheaper and a year older than Bardstowns own picks. Additionally, we offer picks in states they don't yet operate in including Iowa.

Please send John or Gene and email or direct message if interested in samples. These barrels will arrive middle of next week.
