It’s almost the 4th of July! ❤️🤍💙
Which means we have been hearing fire works go off at night for give or take, 3 days already 😅. As we near a pet owners most stressful day of the year, we urge you to prepare you and your furry friends for the events of the holiday. 🐾

Here are some tips, tricks, and things to have on hand - from your veterinary staff at BHSAH

1. Get cozy with your pet and watch your favorite movie to help drown out the loud outside noise.
2. Make sure to close all doors and windows
3. If your pet has been prescribed any medication to help with anxiety or stress, make sure to follow the guidelines and call us if you have any questions!

Give us a call or text at (310) 276-7114 if you need your pets medication refilled before we are closed for the holiday. 💊🐾

Say hi to Sonny! ☀️🖤

Sonny is a Chow Chow, most well known for their dark purple/black colored tongues. As puppies Chows will often be born with traditionally pink colored tongues, and as they age the color will progressively darken to look more like Sonny’s. How cool is that!

Beau is here to remind everyone that keeping up on your puppies vaccines is super important! 🐾

Today he received all 3 of his core vaccines — Distemperparvo, Bordetella, and Rabies. His mom is going to be putting him through training soon and wanted to ensure that he is going into it the safest he possibly can be. He was a great patient today and got all the love and attention from his vet staff here at BHSAH ❤️‍🩹🐶🩺
