🥕🍎 Holiday Flavors, Farm-Fresh Goodness! 🍂

Celebrate the season with a zesty twist! Here’s a simple and delicious recipe to elevate your holiday table:

Cranberry Jalapeño Salsa
Ingredients:
- 1 bag (12 oz) fresh cranberries
- 1–2 jalapeños, seeded and finely diced (adjust for heat preference)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (or more to taste)
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1/4 cup finely diced red onion
- Salt to taste

Directions:
1️⃣ Rinse cranberries and pulse in a food processor until coarsely chopped.
2️⃣ Combine cranberries, jalapeños, sugar, cilantro, lime juice, and red onion in a bowl.
3️⃣ Stir well, adding salt to taste.
4️⃣ Cover and let the flavors meld in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for roasted meats.

Celebrate the season with New Entry’s Holiday Produce Boxes and secure your spot in the 2025 Early Bird CSA Program! 🎁🌾

Here’s a tasty idea for your farm-fresh produce:

Beet and Cheddar Apple Tarts
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed and cut into six 4 1/2-inch rounds
- 3/4 cup shredded white cheddar (3 oz)
- 1 small apple, cored and thinly sliced
- 1 small beet, scrubbed, peeled, and thinly sliced
- Coarse salt and ground pepper
- 1/2 tsp fresh thyme leaves

Directions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 400°F.
2️⃣ Place pastry rounds on a parchment-lined baking sheet and prick with a fork.
3️⃣ Layer cheese, apple slices, and beet slices on top.
4️⃣ Season with salt, pepper, and thyme.
5️⃣ Bake 13-15 minutes until golden and puffed. Enjoy warm!
