We hope you and your furry friends have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Here's a quick update on our hours for the holiday week:

📅 Wednesday, November 27th: Open 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📅 Thursday, November 28th: Closed
📅 Friday, November 29th: Closed

We’ll be back to serve you and your pets on Monday, December 2nd.

Just a reminder we will be open regularly July 1st and 2nd, on July 3rd our hours will be 8am-5pm, and we will be CLOSED July 4th & 5th. We will re-open normally on Monday July 8th. Please plan your medication refills, and food and appointment need accordingly. Have a safe and happy 4th of July!!

It's the first official day of summer and it's HOT! 🥵 PLEASE remember to use extra caution with your pets in the heat! It doesn't take long for symptoms of heat stroke to present themselves. If your pet experiences any of the symptoms of heat stroke, get them cooled off as quickly as possible and seek veterinary care immediately.
Short-nosed dogs, long haired dogs, puppies, and dogs over 7 years old are at greater risk. If not treated quickly, heatstroke can kill. Prevention is better than cure. 🐾

Happy Tuesday! Please be aware if you are coming to see us in the next few days that our parking lot is being seal-coated and striped, so we do not have full use of the parking lot, currently. There will always be an area left open to drive on and parking is currently in the dirt area at the back of the lot. Thanks for your patience!

Make sure you are all set on food and medications this week and if you have need of veterinary care while we are closed, please contact Maine Veterinary Medical Center, Angelus Urgent Veterinary Care or other local urgent care clinics. To ensure everyone's safety during the upcoming storm, we have made the decision to close tomorrow. In case your pet needs urgent care, please reach out to Maine Veterinary Medical Center. They’ll take great care of you! Our team is available till 6:30 pm today should you require food, meds, or have any questions.

April Storm coming? Who really knows? 🤷‍♀️😹 We can't say yet whether this storm will affect our hours (because we all know how quickly the forecast changes here in New England), but if you are at all concerned about the predicted snow storm and have an appointment already scheduled, we do have openings on both Tuesday and Wednesday should you wish to reschedule! We will keep you posted though!

Just a head's up / reminder that we will be having the lobby floor redone at the end of this week, which means we will unfortunately be curbside this Thursday and Friday as well as Monday and Tuesday of next week to give the floor time to cure (Wasabi isn't happy about it either!) We expect to have the lobby open again on Wednesday the 6th. Thank you all once again for your patience!
