West Allis Training Kennel Club is hosting a Fun Retriever Field Trial on April 20th, 2024. Check in time will begin at 8:00am with a start time of 9:00am. The pre-entry fee is $25.00 per stake. Day of entry fee is $30.00 per stake. All stakes listed below.
Lunch will be available.

Update: no owner has been located. Due to the very large number of comments and messages received about this dog, we have turned off the comments for this post. As with any animal that comes into our care, he will be medically and behaviorally evaluated prior to being made available for adoption and we will not be accepting any applications prior to him becoming available. Please know he's in great hands with our staff and volunteers while he waits to be adopted. We care greatly about every animal that comes through our doors and work very hard to find them all good homes! Our website is updated throughout the day with new animals ready for adoption. *Please note that the soonest this dog will be available is next week as he will need to be neutered prior to going home.

Our UKC Elite Shed Dog Hunt test pre registration is open on Hunt Secretary and closes tomorrow night. It’s a 3 day event with a new test and a chance to get a qualifying pass each day. Sep 8,9, and 10. With the Jamboree on Sat the 9th. Hope to see some new and veteran club members out there trying it out !

So this happened ..
River earned her AKC Junior Hunting Retriever Title today at West Allis Training Kennel Club. River is 5 for 5 running retriever hunt tests at the Fox Valley Retriever Club, Madison Retriever Club, and West Allis Training Kennel Club this year. AKC first approved the English Springer Spaniel to compete in Retriever Hunt Test on November 11, 2022.
Many thanks to Chris Deakin President of WATKC for starting a training group and supporting our Spaniels and all the WATKC retriever guys that helped throw and shoot ducks for us. You’re the Best!!

Congratulations to all the finalists of WATKC’s first ever Owner Handler Qualifier ! 1st Place to Josh Lee and Rocket , 2nd place Dan Kastner and Cassie, 3rd place Ryan Hornyak with Slider and 4th place Kathy Guerra with Sneakers. Thanks to our judges Dick Reesman and Larry Johnson and thanks to all the workers that came out to help. And most of all thanks to the handlers that came with their dogs to our first ever OHQ.
