June has definitely brought quite the whirlwind of weather! Make sure you're prepared with your pet as both thunderstorms ⛈ and fireworks 🎆 become more common!
▪ Pet ID's should be up to date and secure. Microchips are a great way to make sure a pet has a permanent form of ID.
▪ Go with your pet outside. All it takes is one loud noise for a pet to bolt with fear.
▪ If your pet needs medications before storms be sure to order with plenty of spare time. This is Minnesota weather we are talking about after all.

Kitten season is in full swing. Unfortunately, we here at the vet clinic are not always well equipped to take on kittens. However, Tri-County Humane Society made this lovely infographic. 🎯🎯🎯It's that time of the year again! 🪰Gnats 🪰 are out and about leaving these alarming red spots on our pets abdomens.
Fear not! 🦸‍♂️ 🦸‍♂️
These bites are just scary looking to us! 😱 For our pets, they can be itchy and annoying, but otherwise harmless. Usually these will resolve on their own or with the help of some Benadryl.
If your pet is continued to be bothered by these or they do not resolve within a few days, call us to be seen. 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️
