🏆 Bette and Aurora, the Timberblac girls, need some applause for recent National ranking of #6 and #11 in NADD dock diving of all Flat-coats.
At the Peacock Plunge in Ridgeland, SC last weekend, both girls jumped their personal bests.🏆

Before the year gets away from me I need to let you know what Rune was up to this Summer and Fall, a very busy girl! She passed four legs of her JH Title w Bridget Bodine in MS and with Mary Francis Mangum on the lead earned two legs of Rally Novice before her ride left the state to get her home to NY.
It didn’t end there as a good friend, Ida Rakowsky agreed to try for that last leg of Rally, and went on to earn three legs of Beginner Novice all in one weekend at Macungie, PA.
Ida’s spectacular 4 day weekend was putting titles on her own dogs, Timber & Gwen too, nine legs, four titles including I don’t know how many, placement ribbons… Rune was 4-for-4. Big thanks to everyone who put their love and effort into these achievements, we couldn’t do it without you! Introducing

In early Nov Cricket did a thing!
Kiley’s sister, Timberblacs By Jiminy, passed two legs toward her JH.
North Mississippi Amateur Retriever Club put on a good weekend of tests and Cricket, wonderfully trained & handled by Bridget Bodine (Versatile Dog Training), reports Cricket did a great job on some tricky marks.
We’re looking forward to Cricket trading places in the new year with Kiley as the girls prove versatility of our beloved breed.

This guy turns 11 YRS OLD Sat 14th and it doesn't seem possible he's reached that age... you would never know. He still does his bounce at the door, keeps up with the others and loves to retrieve... anything!
Dover, in his heyday traveled the continent, turned heads, won the hearts of many, and won some big, big ribbons. We did some traveling too for his JH passes... he was quite capable, I was the one who needed lessons.
He has produced some pretty pups and Dover is still going strong! A son, born in July joined our family and romps in the woods with Dad, his Aunts, and cousins... the Timberblac family celebrates here, and Timberblac family across the miles... 2024 AKC National Championship presented by Royal Canin
Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, FL

Kiley has been on fire in the show ring these past two months! Hurricanes shut down so many shows in Oct, but Florida friends survived and Kiley took off in Nov & Dec to place in the ribbons at every show. She reached Silver GCH at Ocala, took a few Breed wins and is having fun with Team Sutton on the road and in the ring.
October rankings place Kiley at #13 FCR with 21 Best of Breed wins this year and a Group 1... holding her own with the big dogs!

This week are the pre-national shows with large entries in the breed and looking forward to the big weekend coming up. *Update... Kiley goes 3 for 3 as Select Bitch this pre-nationals week with solid entries, strong competition, and holds her own among some amazing Bi***es.

Kiley is Ranked #13 Flat-coat and #17 All Breed, earned her GCH Bronze in June, and almost a clean sweep of Breed wins in NC last weekend.

Back history on this girl is that her Great Grandmother was my very special girl, Haylea... Clearwater Mist on the Meadow. I am blessed to have been picked by her breeder to be able to have her in my family. Thank you Elizabeth Hooper Mound, Wendy & Doug Windsor. Harper is a very happy, and loved tornado in our household.

At 1yr old, Kiley has climbed the ranks to #12 Flatcoat this May, and is just pts away from Bronze GCH. We're so proud...

At 1yr old, Kiley has climbed the ranks to #12 Flatcoat this May, and is just pts away from Bronze GCH. We're so proud of this little girl and her winning ways and thank Team Sutton for all they've taught and the perfection in her presentation... Supported entry Group 1, a dozen Breed wins, and WKC BOS are her highest achievements so far... but wait until she grows up!

It’s that time of year! ☀️ Join us for the DockDogs event at Benson's Pet Center in Clifton Park on June 8th and 9th from 9:00AM - 6:00PM. Dogs of all breeds and sizes will showcase their incredible jumping and retrieving skills in the pool and dock set up in our parking lot. 🌊

What is DockDogs?
DockDogs is the fastest growing sport on 4 legs and it features three exciting disciplines:
🌊Big Air: Dogs run and jump into the water, with distance measured from the dock to where the tail breaks the surface.
🌊Extreme Vertical :Dogs jump vertically to grab a bumper toy extended over the water, starting at 4'6" and increasing in height.
🌊Speed Retrieve: A timed event where dogs race to retrieve a toy suspended above the water at the pool's end.

Tomorrow's lineup for FCR at WKC... for newbies following, Dogs are odd numbers, Bi***es are even. The entire entry is invited into the ring first and checked in and the judge usually cuts the group (probably in half), often males first, then females and he may make a cut in both groups. Those who make the cut return to the ring for the final judging.

Tune in to Ring 2 about 8:30am to watch Flatcoated Retriever judging. There is live stream viewing at westminsterkennelclub.org & with Fox Sports app. TV broadcasting on FS2 starts at 6:30am with previews, showing starts at 8am and will broadcast to 6:00pm
