***UPDATE - He is safe at home now! 😁***

Neighbors & Friends: A dog slipped away from his owners in our parking lot. Please be on the lookout for a Rat Terrier, white with brown markings, roughly 25 pounds, not wearing a collar. He is FAST and does not like car rides. He does like other dogs so he may be drawn to a house with dogs in the yard. Last seen near the intersection of 165th Ave and Chippewa Lake Rd, heading southwest. Please call the clinic if there are any sightings 231.796.4499.

We will be closed on Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th. If you need to pick up any medication, food, or supplies for the long holiday weekend, please get in touch ASAP. Also, please remember how incredibly stressful this celebratory stretch can be for our furry family members. Make sure they are wearing collars (with identification!) and be sure everyone is mindful of open doors. Consider placing your pets in a safe enclosed area with distracting background noises like a TV or music.

If you need Coggins testing done for horses used in 4H or school events please make sure to schedule an appointment ASAP so we have time to get your results before those May deadlines. 🏇🏅

Due to the extreme weather forecasted tomorrow, Friday, January 12th, it is very likely we will be closing early. Please plan accordingly for medications, food, etc. We will be here today until 5:30 pm and will be open in the morning for a period of time. Stay safe and warm, everyone! 🌬❄️☃️🐾

A message from Dr. G:

To all my furry friends and their owners:
I have made the difficult decision to leave Stone Hill Veterinary Clinic and transition full time to Animal Emergency Hospital in Grand Rapids.

I have enjoyed working with all of you during the past three years. I have met so many good people from the area and you all were so welcoming to me. Mostly, I will miss the relationships we've built together and seeing the little fuzzballs turn into big fuzzballs.

Thank you for the opportunity to work with each of you and your pets, it truly was a rewarding experience. Hopefully I won't have to see any of you down at the ER.
