*** I was going to wait until summer to post them when everyone is shed out, clean and beautiful but this momma needs a new mount and can’t get one until a couple of these guys are gone. I’m tired of sitting on the sidelines so they’re available for a short time at a discount if I don’t have to bathe, clip, and professionally photograph everyone. She is a finished Reiner who maxed out her NRHA youth points (38) in just 3 shows her first year in the pen with a 1st year rider. She has points with AQHA and ARHA as well! She excels in the ranch versatility classes and has been hauled to every kind of fun show you can think of from reining to barrels/poles to English Equitation. The sweetest 5 year old AQHA gelding around. Nickers when he sees you, meets you at the gate and loves attention. SAFE, SANE, and SOUND! No kick, buck, rear etc. Absolutely fine in a mixed herd. Great on trails. Fantastic for farrier, vetting, grooming, and bathing. Stands tied and in cross ties. Solid w/t/c, neck reins, backs, and side passes. Very athletic. Been to some local fun shows. Would make a great youth rodeo or gaming horse. Up to date on ALL cares. Feet, teeth, worming, fall vaccines and coggins just done. No vices or maintenance. Wears front shoes for trail riding. Great in a stall or perfectly fine out 24/7. Located in Big Rock, IL

*The ONLY reason this horse isn’t listed for 3x what we’re asking is because he’s 13.3h and will get looked over for that fact alone. They are not great pictures but for reference I included pictures of my husband on him. He is 6’ and 235lbs. He is a heck of a horse and STOUT made. He stays fat on grass and hay.

**Before you ask the infamous ”Is he kid safe?” My 10 year old can walk/trot him. I’ve had beginners who have never sat on a horse before walk him around the barn. He’s been primarily ridden by a high school kid. He lead lines my toddlers. However, YOU have to determine if he’s safe for YOUR kid. His trot is cute and slow but his canter is very fast so he is not the horse you’re teaching anyone to canter on unless you teach him to collect and slow down his canter. He stops as soon as you ask and doesn’t do anything wrong. He’s just super quick. We are working on slowing it down but as soon as he does he will no longer be priced where he is because then I will confidently list him as a beginner kid horse.

Everett has officially adopted himself a pony from the Hooved Animal Humane Society ❤️He was 1 of 59 ponies rescued from a hoarding situation! He is a super sweet 6 year old gelding. He is not broke to ride yet but something about him just spoke to us so if anyone has brave kiddos who want to volunteer to help get him going under saddle then send em on over 😂

So incredibly proud of team Steinke this weekend!

Leyenda Olena (Leya): had her first show back since 2017. She placed in every single one of her classes! Joshua Steinke showed her in a ranch riding rail class and did great! Kolt Reynolds Reynolds piloted her in All Age Reining as well as All Age Ranch Reining. She had some very tough competition and still placed 5th! I will more than take that for a 15 year old momma who just weaned a baby a couple weeks ago and had 7 years off! She added 16 points to her ARHA total!

RS Gunners Spark (PK): and Heidi Marie Bernhard were great per usual! She placed 3 in a huge All Age jr horse ranch riding class. She also added 16 points to her ARHA total!

Sheza Uptown Gurl (Gabby): Had her first ever show! She has had 60 days put on her with maybe 20 consistent rides total. She was a saint the whole weekend. We didn’t expect to put her in a class but she handled the first 2 days so well that Josh rode her in a walk trot class. She was fabulous and even placed 10th in a big class earning herself 1 whole point lol
