Welcome Wonder Man to HRG
Wonder is approx 1 yo male, neutered and shots done; great with kids, loves all dogs and does bother our cats. Plays a little rough because he thinks he is only 10 pounds when really he is about 20 pounds approximately. Loves to play, chases a ball all day and will lay next to you on a couch all day if you want. Must have a fence yard because poor Wonder is deaf. Please don’t let that stop you from looking at him. He is a very very sweet. Loves to give kisses Dog. Fantastic dog. Just has a lot of energy. Because he’s still a young pup.

HRG will research and start work on training for a deaf dog. Once we fill he is comfortable; and this boy is super smart, so we see him doing awesome as we go. Keep an eye on this boy and share to anyone who is looking for a good loving companion.

UPDATE: Polly has found her loving home and is spoiled already. Happy life Ms Polly.

So Polly is incredibly sweet. She likes meeting people, and she LOVES to go in the car. She usually does her poo at lunch time, she goes out early morning, at lunch, after work, and once or twice before bed time to p*e. She explores, likes to run, and she is very fast!
She loves to sit with you on the couch and snuggle. She will sleep in a kennel with her bed and babies, or likes to sleep next to you in bed. She seems to be good at letting you know she needs to go out.
She is a good chewer, and loves even the bigger dog chew bones and antlers.
She listens well when you tell her to get down or off the couch. She likes to sleep up on the back of the couch, and she lays there to look out the windows.
She eats in the morning and around 5 pm. She seems to prefer having a little bite of can food mixed with her dry. I also sprinkle a little warm water on it.
She did great at the groomers, just a bit nervous around her nails. She came to HRG with severe flea dermatitis, she may need a few more moisturizing baths since the air is still so cold and dry to help with residual itchies.
She is such a great little dog. ❤️ You will fall in love immediately. She loves my grandson who is 7 and dog knowledgeable. She LOVES belly rubs. She will protect her toys but gets along well with cats and little dogs. She is afraid of big dogs, so she won’t go to a home with large siblings.

Jackie is a 9 yr old Bassett hound/spaniel mix. Utd on vaccinations. Healthy according to her senior check up and blood work. She is house broken. She will let you know if she wants out. She loves rides and going on walks. If going on walks, she must be on a leash because if she catches a scent , she is going to track it. She is good in the store and on a leash. She is chill, loves to be loved. Doesn’t bark a lot. She is absolutely the sweetest, friendliest dog I’ve ever been around. She loves everyone and goes crazy over kids. If you have other questions, please contact us.

Thank you all for sharing and for those who applied to foster ir adopt! We have great followers.

Two pug/chi/(dach?) puppies. Minnie and Nelson need a soft place to stay for a bit. HRG will lrovide vetting and scheduling spay and neuter appts. Both are approx 5 months old and possibly weigh under 10 #. Still learning to go outside so house breaking will need to continue for them to they are not high energy pups.
Give HRG a message if you can foster till a fur-ever home is found. 931-801-1907. They can be separated if two good foster homes apply.

** Urgent Foster Needed**
House fire has left this baby without a home. Her mother is making the sacrifice to rehome her to a home that can take care of her. Her name is Maggie. She’s 14 and weighs about 20 pounds. She is spayed. She will be up-to-date on her vaccinations, sponsored by HRG. we will evaluate to see how she does with other dogs and cats and kids as we pick her up this afternoon. Found this sweetheart on to***co port Road. Running down the middle of the road. We normally don’t pick up dogs, but it was getting dark and it was going to get very cold. He has a newly neuter scar. Clean nails clean. I know this baby belongs to someone. Let’s try to find his family and get him back home. He’s safe with HRG at the moment. Will go and scan for microchip today. Please reach out to me if he belongs to you or if anyone recognizes him.
