** Urgent Foster Needed**
House fire has left this baby without a home. Her mother is making the sacrifice to rehome her to a home that can take care of her. Her name is Maggie. She’s 14 and weighs about 20 pounds. She is spayed. She will be up-to-date on her vaccinations, sponsored by HRG. we will evaluate to see how she does with other dogs and cats and kids as we pick her up this afternoon. Lucious (Big L) is headed home. We are headed to Knoxville Tennessee to meet up with his new dad. Which happens to be his owners son. Great happy ending to this very sad beginning.

Found this sweetheart on to***co port Road. Running down the middle of the road. We normally don’t pick up dogs, but it was getting dark and it was going to get very cold. He has a newly neuter scar. Clean nails clean. I know this baby belongs to someone. Let’s try to find his family and get him back home. He’s safe with HRG at the moment. Will go and scan for microchip today. Fantastic news.
Big L aka Lucius is going to his fur-ever home. He’s going to be living with family. This is a great ending to a very tragic story. More to come on the story but for now I just need to know from my transport Warriors. Is I- 40 from Nashville to Knoxville clear to drive for transport?

Update: home found
Motley was pulled to help clear some space. His picture shows how bad he was coming in- to now his true self. He is (most likely) a shih-poo. He is approx 3-4 years old. He has a sweet side profile to show his cute poodle face. His currently foster just told me he loves raw apples! Wow what a treat. She said he loves the yard and runs up the stairs in excitement of being out if the shelter and in a home. She really feels like he was someone’s baby at one time. So sad when these babies loss their humans and end up in a shelter. While being groomed they said he was the love of the staff. They all took turns holding him. He played great with all the other pups there. He has a fantastic attitude and zest for life. He is scheduled to be neutered and have all shots up dated on 10/17. He will be ready to find his loving home. Don’t miss this hidden gem behind that mess of hair! He has turned out to be a beautiful diamond!!

Beaglejuice, Beaglejuice, Beaglejuice!
The great Beaglejuice has appeared. She is one sweet little lady. Looking for a home to retire in. She loves to eat rocks and p**p. That’s why we need to find her a nice place with grass. Miss BJ is around 6 to 8 years old up-to-date on all her shots, spayed and get along with everybody and everything. Loves just to sleep and snuggle, loves to eat 😂 anything, she will make a great full-time companion to someone that just wants to have a constant friend by their side.

Pheobe is a beautiful and well-behaved dog who brings so much joy. She’s fully potty trained and behaves wonderfully in the house. You can trust her completely when you’re away, and she won’t cause any trouble. Pheobe adores playing with her ball and she’s really good at fetching and returning it to you. She also travels well in the car. She has a lovely nature and a gentle temperament, making her suitable for anyone. Although she may bark at other dogs at first, she quickly becomes comfortable around them. She loves visiting dog parks and has a blast. She knows commands like Sit, Turn, Flats (lay down), Up, Down, Turn around, and Shake. Pheobe is fantastic with people and kids, and she would thrive with an active and loving family.

Phoebe is losing her home at no fault of her. Deployment and family medical issues have caused this urgent need. NO NEGATIVE Comments - only share and help HRG.

Big Lucious (11) is still looking for his special companion. Don’t allow such a cute goofy boy who loves to be loved on, spend his remaining years here in a kennel. He deserves so much better. His mother in heaven is watching to see who will love her baby. Can your heart allow Big L in?

Update: I drove Ellie all the way to her new fur-ever hone. She is doing amazing well. She gets to go to work with her new mom two days a week. Happy life Ellie!!

Miss Ellie is looking for a soft lap to lay into and enjoy retirement. She is 14, blind in one eye and slightly in her good eye, deaf ir selective hearing 😂. She will be up to date with shots before going to a home. She is gentle and enjoys everyone. Would like her to go to someone looking for a companion so she can get all the love. UPDATE:
First I want everyone to know, I never said I was going to buy them. I offered SCAMP, tried to educate; and I didn't want them to end up on the side of the road later so I posted hoping for good homes. I also educated on asking the right questions to potential homes and SCAMP again. If I had room at my own “personal” kennels, I would have offered to take into my sanctuary. NOT paying for them. Please do not pass judgement. Please be a part of the solution of education and spay/neuter programs. We have to all work together to get ahead if the problem; proactive not reactive!

UPDATE: Bandit is actually meeting a potential furever home. They are doing a meet and greet to see how Bandit does.

I just don’t understand why no one has messaged me on fostering this sweat boy. Look at these pictures. He is showing how good of a little man he is.

Bandit is approximately 3-4 years old. He is house broken plus p*e pad. Love’s other dogs and kids. He will be neutered and up to date on shots when he goes to his nest foster/family.

Help me share Bandit and find him a family!!

Bandit is one sweet boy. He needs to find a new home. The good Samaritan says he is very loving. He is housebroken. He loves kids seems to love other dogs really a very good boy. Right now he is not neutered, but arrangements will be made for that as well as shots will be updated, HRG will be sponsoring that. He would make a phenomenal companion. And travel partner. Because he seems to be very relaxed and just wants to be loved. Loves to snuggle. Seems to be almost bombproof. Update:
** Big L has been playing outside in the playyard with our big white lab Bingo. He seems to want to play with bigger dogs. One the introduction is over, Big L doesnt know his size and sometimes bumps during introduction. Not aggressive at all just clumsy. I truly feel he could be a sibling to a big furkid. No cats or smaller fur friends. He chases and unsure of his full intent.**

Big L is a beautiful senior boxer. He lost his mom to demons she could no longer fight, stayed by her side for over 25 days till she was found. He is a true companion and now he needs someone to be by his side and love him for every day or month or year he has to celebrate life. Are you that person?

Jackie O is a spaniel/basset mix. She is 9 yo and full of love and spirit. Her mother passed away and the family made the hard decision to find a home that could care for her where they could not. She has been so happy since her groom. I saw the real Jackie O once all the hair and tangles came off. What a loving girl. She would love a companion to show her love too. Come see her!

Bandit is Chiweenie who needs a better suited home. He loves kids and loves to be loved on. Great to snuggle with while watching a scary movie! Currently with a foster so msg HRG to meet him.

These 3 babies are currently available and all will be spay/neuter, and up to date on shots. Message HRG to set up a meet and greet or ask questions.
