PUPDATE STATUS: ADOPTED

Jelly Roll's life began with the odds stacked against him, as he faced an incredibly “ruff” start that would leave an indelible mark on his journey. Rescued from dire circumstances alongside his sister, Jelly Roll was one of the only survivors of his litter after they all contracted the devastating parvovirus, a disease that claimed the lives of many.
When we first brought him into our sanctuary, he was a fragile, frightened puppy, barely clinging to life amidst the chaos. The vet emphasized the serious nature of his condition, and it soon became our mission to give him a fighting chance. For months, we poured our hearts into his care, managing his intensive treatment and watching over him day and night as he fought through the pain and illness. Despite his difficulties, Jelly Roll's spirit emerged remarkably; his playful nature and boundless affection slowly began to blossom as he gained strength, providing all of us with a profound sense of hope.
He experienced moments of joy and setbacks alike, but through it all, he showed an incredible will to survive. Even as he mourned the loss of his siblings, he continued to forge connections with those caring for him, learning to trust again. His resilience paid off, and eventually, the day came when Jelly Roll was ready to move beyond the shelter’s walls and into a loving forever home. A family saw the beautiful spirit within him, and they opened their hearts and home to this once-fragile pup, giving him the love and stability he had always deserved. From that day forward, Jelly Roll traded the uncertainty of his past for a future filled with warmth and joy, finally thriving in an environment where he could truly belong.

Only one puppy was found under them home and both females were caught.
