Here our head trainer Erica is demonstrating how to put a dog into a down and stay while you step away. If you would like info on how to get your dog signed up for training please contact us today.
Today makes day four I believe with Mr. George. He has already upgraded from a slip leash to Starmark collar with a five ft leash. Moving up collars can help raise the level in which you are heard with a correction. A big dog like George has a lot of power. Even more so when he really wants to go see something. Effective communication is the most important thing in dog training. Making sure what I ask of him is the same way every time. As well, to be heard. Owning a dog should be like an extension of yourself. When he’s pulling all over the place that isn’t being a team but individual walks lol. I’m just two days with the new collar he is already walking with less pulling. With almost that perfect “J” at the leash showing he is by my side. With dog training it’s really important to have many tool aides in your belt for every situation. Because every dog is different like you and I. It’s very important to set ourselves up for the highest success possible when using the right tools for the job. Anyways back to dogs!!
Please don’t mind my lazy day clothes lol! Lots of things going on here with crate training and exercising.
This is my personal dog Mr. Gatsby. He has been a challenge and a half with his story. Being pulled too young from his mom. To being a dog breed I didn’t want or sign up for.
Now he’s my very best friend and such a super smart booger. However, he can feel very pent up sometimes. Getting frustrated and very irritable with new people when I’ve been overly focused on work. When adding in some of these super cute but energy draining tricks it really changes his mindset and helps him be a well level headed dog. Most of these tricks allows him to use his entire body and forces him to really concentrate on what he’s being asked to do. In just a 5-15 minute session Mr. Gatsby will be worn out and ready to relax with the family again.
As I tell you guys. It takes a simple 15-20 minutes as little as twice a day to build a really successful relationship with your dog. When choosing Molly's Paws of Service as your training partner we make sure that you guys hit all those training goals together as a team. Setting you guys up for the highest success possible.

What am incredible start of the weekend!!!! I had the wonderful opportunity to attend one of Dog Daddy’s training seminars. His speciality? Reactive dogs. In just three hours he was able to get those pups back in their heads and ready to start some real training.
Remember guys with reactive dogs. One day of training isn’t going to be the cure all for reactive dogs. It takes time and consistency. Repeating and practicing that training at any and all points of the day!
If you own or know someone who has a reactive dog shoot me a message and let’s start getting that process started. My biggest goal as a trainer is helping the dog and handler have a healthier relationship to have a calmer, peaceful home life. And that starts with training.

Tug of war fun!
Gypsy and Poppy need a furever home!
Please share this post so we can find a good home for these two ladies!
When bringing home a dog. Do your research. Each breed of dog has personality traits specific to them. Be prepared what to expect. Can you handle that much energy? Will you be able to meet their grooming needs? What about social needs???
Please please please do your due diligence and research research research. This is why a large portion of dogs are in shelters. Owners no longer wanting their dream dog because they don’t want to put in the care or dedication.
Sorry guys for venting. I have seen a lot of rehoming lately and it just breaks my hearts for these guys. They are living, breathing things too that have feelings.
Need a dog walked? What about someone to check on your pets while your at work or out of town??
Maybe you just need grooming. Shoot us a message and see what kind of services we can offer you!
She is pretty and she knows it ❤️
Pretty Penny going for a walk?
This is Stefan (I sure hope I’m spelling that right I may be wrong). He is a 4 month old Rottweiler that we are currently training for a Veteran. I have been working with him now for almost three weeks and he has most of his basics down perfectly. Even with non-verbal cues!!! Here is a video I attempted to take tonight of him perfectly responding to the cue and tasking. Today, we were working on making sure he can respond immediately when he sees a cue and do whatever he can so he can touch/apply pressure to his handler. This is to help bring awareness to stress or anxiety for the handler.
This little man is gonna be such a gentleman (:
We are so thrilled to be apart of the process and helping him grow.
