So its finally time for me to air my side of things here. As im sure all of you know Scott at Mainly Quail. As well as some of you may know me and him had a disagreement months ago that ive remained quiet about publicly. But this has gone on for TOO long. For too long he has spewed this web of lies as if im some terrible person doing all these wrongs to him while he has/had done nothing to me. Im here to say that is 100% a lie. He warps and changes the story to make himself look better while not allowing anyone to see the real truth. Well here it is. From the beginning this all was about me asking him questions about breeding then not purchasing from him that's it. As many of you know ive asked 100 questions to many of you. Thats what birds is. LEARNING. By no means am I an expert but is anyone? He begun by making posts containing pictures of my 3 year old daughter, slandering my name,slandering the name of some of the best well known breeders here,making sexist comments,racist comments,death threats just to name a few. I can sit here and tell you all he's said but all the screenshots hes hidden from all your eyes are below to read for yourself. I am by no means innocent in this and i have no problems admitting what i have done but I can assure you everything that was said and done was in defense or retaliation for the things this person is trying to say about my friends,family and fellow breeders.

Reeves Pheasant chicks. Off heat but still inside building. Roughly 4 weeks old.

Ringneck pheasant chicks of various colors and ages from fresh hatched all the way up to off heat and outside including the following colors Standard, Melanistic, Pure White, Buff and Red Buff.

Hybrid red jungle fowl pairs off heat fully outside

Polish chicken chicks or various ages and colors some fresh hatched some already outside off heat.

1 pied guinea chick off heat outside

Bantam cochin/polish chicks fresh hatched to off heat and outside.

Hi everyone! What a crazy few months its been 1000s of eggs have been laid and hatched. Needless to say i am pooped💩. But theres always improving to do,always holes in your system you find when things really get going. With that being said we again are looking for a list of things to help our farm. Weve got lots of chick's to trade with from chickens to quail and everywhere in between so let us know if you might have something from our list. As fast as it begun it ends. The last setting of eggs for the year getting set tonight. Its not a sad moment its more of a good feeling knowing that i can take all the lessons and tips i learned this year and apply them to next year. All is not lost though. Many eggs still getting ready to hatch plus a few hens setting already and with now leaving eggs i imagine that will turn into more. Ive done what i could to salvage my year and i think ive been able to do just that with the help of the birds of course. Now its time to buckle down and get these projects done! Growouts,broody pen got worked on this week with the growouts being finished while making good progress on the broody pen. Hopefully have that done this week! I always gotta keep moving forward people lol.

Hi folks! In such a short time we already hit 6k followers!! You guys are amazing. Couldn't do this without you. Seems like we were just celebrating 2K followers! So for 6k im thinking of doing something fun. Let you guys have some input so to speak. What do you all think would be a cool and fun bird for us to work with?? And so it begins. Finally getting started on the new goose/shelduck pens. Will be 8x20 with 4x8 being fully enclosed to be able to give the early nesters a warmer place to sit on there eggs. Dont know why i thought it was a good idea to start them when its 95 outside 😂😂

Pure Polish chicks looking for new brooder come from a mixed color flock pictured below consisting of a candy corn male 2 white crested blue hens 1 candy corn hen 1 buff hen and 1 gold laced hen. Also 1 bantam cochin hen in the mix that I also have babies available from as well fathered by the candy corn rooster. Ohhh the adventures you go on for birds. Took a 12 hour drive yesterday to pickup some much needed equipment for next year (and some I didn't need but couldn't pass up). The lesson for today is if you need it/want it make it happen. Driving and getting this saved me multiple thousands of $$. Gotta travel for the good stuff! Plus my season is finally turning itself around! Few white crested,nepal,elliots,true silvers,tragopans,impeyans,Mikado,blue eared,brown eared made it to the brooders this week with more hoping to hatch soon!

Back to the grindstone I go. Took a few weeks off from doing projects for awhile to get my head back in the game. Growouts need to get done as well as the new goose pens. Time to get to work! Made it a point this year to get myself some Kelly chickens have a nice group growing out. Plus a few of the earlier hatches of the year are starting to go outside. The lesson for this year at least for me is TRUST WHAT YOU KNOW. Made the mistake of trusting cabinet incubators for hatching things and it's just about ruined my season. Until I went back to my trusty brinsea table tops. Doubled and tripled my number of some species I have hatched out which for some was 0. Every egg for the rest of the year is going in there. Hoping I can salvage what I can!

I don't post personal stuff here often due to this being my farm page but with all the new followers I feel it's only right to do a little introduction..

Hello everyone my name is Jonathon. Me,my wife and our kids own operate and maintain our exotic bird farm here in northern minnesota. What started as a journey to release some birds has turned into what it is now. With over 30 species of birds from button quail to emu and every where in between! Needless to say we've got plenty of work on our hands. Our full time LGDs Dottie,Luna and Karen are the thing that make all this possible. Without them there would be no farm. We've come a long way from where we started with many ups and downs but we've always pushed through! Thanks goes out to all you followers/customers for making this pipe dream a reality. Without everyone Involved this wouldn't be possible and for that I thank you! Happy hatching everyone!
