From Vet Clinics in the U.S - this notice is being sent to all Vet Clinics to let owners know about a microchip business that seems to have closed without notice.

If your pet's microchip is registered with Save This Life (commonly starting with 991001 or 900164), we strongly recommend registering it with another microchip company.

Thanks to one of our followers in Vet med:
The registry is shut down but the number is still “readable”. Meaning, when the microchip is scanned, it’s still a same long number but if that microchip number is registered with this closed business, there’s no way to access the database, so it’s like you never registered the chip with anyone.

If you can’t find the chip number somewhere, it’s best to call your vet office to scan it and get number ( make sure it’s written down correctly!!!) and register with a reputable company.

Please check with your own vet if you are unsure of where your pet is registered or you can check where your pet's microchip is registered, by visiting AAHA’s Universal Microchip Lookup Tool at this link: https://www.aaha.org/for-veterinary.../microchip-search/

As of mid-January 2025, accessing them became problematic and as of this week, they appear to have shut down and are unreachable with no public statement. There are a few free registries and others that require a small fee.

Choose one of the larger chip companies- that participate in the AAHA registry. This will be needed to get your pet home if they go missing!

Ollies Law is here and there are a few changes but changes we can all navigate through. We recently sent out a email with changes and will continue to navigate them as we work with the towns wonderful dog officers. This was a post sent out by K9 Camp and resort out of Middleborough ,We agree wearing collars in the daycare can be dangerous and we hope to work through changes going forward.

It’s cold but rest assured our 62 degree climate controlled indoor space along with 2000sq indoor play space and 1000 square foot outdoor space are attached. No chance of salt from parking lot burning paws. All dogs are only outside for potty breaks then back indoors to our play in this huge space. This is extreme cold but we take pride in keeping your pet safe this winter from paws to nose.
