Group Classes at The Dog House 🐕🐾🐕

Limited to 4 dogs per class

We believe that training should be a fun and rewarding experience for you and your dog. Our group classes will help you with the skills you need to build that lasting relationship, create confidence in you and your dog, and give training that you can take into everyday life.

Group class for our dayschool participants:
Wednesday, October 25th
6:30-7:30
$25
(More classes will be added, if the first one fills up)
During this group class, we will go over everything your dogs have been learning in our dayschool obedience class. As well as a specific behavior you would like to cover (you will be asked about this when you sign up, so that we can make a plan ahead of time).

6 Week Basic Obedience Class:
Every Monday, October 30th-December 4th
6:30-7:30
$165/6weeks
During this class we will be going over all of the basic obedience you need to build that lasting foundation with your dog.
We will cover:
Leash Walking
Sit
Down
Stay
Place
Recall
Impulse control

What to bring with you to class:
Lots of tasty treats
(Try not to feed dinner first, so that your dog is more motivated to learn!)
Whichever collar or harness you like to walk your dog on
(we may recommend different options, depending on the dog)
A 5-6ft leash
A positive attitude and willingness to learn!

What to expect from your day at doggy dayschool 🐕🐾🐕

Drop off/Pickup times between 7-8:30, 11:30-1, and 4:30-6.
This will allow us to focus on training without the interruptions, keep the dogs more engaged and relaxed, and insure they're getting the most out of our program.

Our morning classes will be Fitness (treadmill, flirt pole, obstacle course, etc. to get out that morning energy!), then Obedience class (we will be making sure everyone has a solid foundation of the basic commands, and then bringing in more advance obedience as they progress), and then play time with other dogs.
Afternoon classes will be Obedience and a specialty class.
Specialty Classes:
Monday/Thursday-Trick training
Tuesday/Friday-Agility training
Wednesday-Scent games
All of these classes will be tailored to fit each dog's level and be challenging enough for them to be continually progressing.
In between their training sessions they will get some down time (in our 5x5 kennels, with a cot, water, frozen kong treat, and enrichment toys) to prevent them from constantly being in an overstimulated mindset.

What to bring with your dog:
🐾If you’re coming in the morning, we recommend either skipping breakfast or bringing it with them. We use lots of treats in our training and we don’t want your dog all filled up when they get here!
🐾 Whichever collar or harness you use to walk your dog. (We may recommend different options, depending on the dog and the level they’re at).

At The Dog House we believe that training should be a fun experience for everyone involved. Our training sessions will be set up in a way that brings out the best in your dogs, meets them at the level they’re on, makes learning exciting, and gives them skills to take into everyday life 🐕🐾🐕

Our daycare will be closed next Friday, the 29th, for remodeling and cleaning, before we open for day school!
This will not effect any existing boarding appointments. I apologize for any inconveniences this causes, however, it’ll be well worth it 🐕🐾🐕

We’re making some BIG changes at The Dog House. To better serve our clients, our community, and make a bigger impact on your dogs lives 🐕🐾🐕
My goal has always been to provide an enriching place for dogs that don’t necessarily thrive in a typical daycare setting. To teach them new skills, build their confidence, and help them grow into the best version of themselves.
I have had the opportunity to help so many dogs since opening and I am beyond appreciative of all the support in helping my small business grow.

I believe with these changes, we will be able to make an even greater difference.
Come closer to my goal of helping all the misfit, misunderstood, challenging, reactive, quirky, high drive, and any other word that’s been used to describe all the amazing dogs I’ve had the privilege of meeting and will get to meet in the future.

🐾Day School for Dogs🐾
What the day will look like:

After check-in, we will have different classes (schedule coming soon!) including Obedience, Fitness, Social Time, Agility, Scent Games, Confidence Building, and Trick Training. All of these tailored to fit each dogs level and be challenging enough for them to be continually progressing. In between their training sessions they will get some down time with a stuffed kong or enrichment toy. Downtime is so important to prevent them from constantly being in that overstimulated mindset!

We will also be offering group classes throughout the month. So you’re able to learn everything along with your dogs 🐕🐕

Our goal is that by having more structure, real life training, confidence building, and getting you, the owner, more involved, you will see lasting results in your dog’s behavior and well-being!

~Membership Prices~
4 Half-days- $128 ($32/day)
6 Half-days- $192 ($32/day) + 50% off group class

4 Full-days- $188 ($47/day)
6 Full-days - $282 ($47/day) + 1 free group class
Must be used within the month

Members will get first option on signing up for group classes before we open it to our other clients (limited to 4 dogs per class).

If you don’t want to commit to being a member you are welcome to pay per day!
Half days $40
Full days $55

Any packages bought before October 1st at our current price can be used for the day-school. Must be used before the end of the year. So take advantage of that in the coming weeks!
