Bio & Experience: 👋 📖 🧠
I am a full-time, bonded and insured pet sitter, with 8 years professional experience.
I have a family background of free-range cattle ranching & have raised & cared for a variety of pet species- from livestock to exotic birds. I have volunteered at several rescues and have helped raised litters.
I have been a professional sitter for 8 years learning about the spectrum of dog temperaments. I board 3 dogs at a time from different families. I treat pets as if they our own, because in those moments they really are! I love reassuring and bonding with animals. My effort is making them feel like they are on vacation themselves.
I have a learned and experiential understanding of dog behavior. I specialize in rescues, elders, and puppies. I monitor constantly for their emotional states, taking note of confidence, over stimulation, and stress. This eye for behavior assures that I am in full control and always know where an emotional state is headed.
**Please see bottom of post for information on rescues.**
What to expect: 🏡 🎾 🐕
We allow free roam in my 2 bedroom home, except in the occurrence of “relax time” where pets rest in the 3 different areas of the house separated by doggy gates when necessary.
These areas are the hallway and bedroom, living room, and kitchen / dining which are all viewable from the living room, the main area is the home.
Pets have the ability to openly interact throughout the entire home while granting them their own space.
This means we vary the day between free-roam, their designated areas, and time rotating them between the 4 areas so that they get plenty of stimulation and down time, when necessary.
The backyard is 1000 sq ft, 6ft fence with no holes. It is 70% shaded by a large tree with a tire rope swing. It is nice and grassy and free of smell!
Elderly dogs and “princesses/ princes” get open access to the couch in the living room and take precedent here, as it’s typically the most relaxing place for them since that is what they are used to if we are fully booked.
All areas of the home are meticulously cleaned and dog proofed. This means there is not anything they can get into/ chew on that is dangerous.
We wake up at 8 am, (or suited to your pups routine) go for potties, in the form of either quick walk around neighborhood or some play in the backyard. We'll get some energy out that way, and let them get their little joints moving and stretching from a well rested night. Pups get fed and loved on, and any am medications given at the times that are appropriate for their schedule. I have a plethora of enrichment Mets and toys for them to play with. They are always being stimulated if they are in need of those outlets!
I do about 30+ min of exercise daily, or longer or less dependent on your pups energy levels and age. I will be sure of your what pet’s needs are, and his/her comfort zones and preferences.
Pets have as many potty breaks as they need, even in the middle of the night.
I walk pups in the evening when it isn’t hot, or in the hottest part of the day in the winter if their feet are tolerant to the cold.
In the evening we do their meal times, additional medication needs, lots of cuddles. 🥰
Dogs get their own water and food bowls and are fed in their designated areas, always.
We welcome clients into our home to see where your babies will be staying!
Safety: ❤️🩹👩🏻⚕️
I am proud to affirm that I have never had an accident or injury occur to any of my clients pets. I have never had to make a claim for damage incurred to my clients properties.
All my clients pups are screened for friendliness and aggression. Rescues are allowed on a meet and greet basis including their history. I take exceptional care to help rehabilitate them to gain trust with other dogs and new environments, safely. Please ask me for my reviews on my rescue care! I pride myself on bringing home rescues better than when they came, in terms of making stride in their confidence and sociability.
I spend a lot of time for introductions within the pack, using separate areas of the house connected by doggy gates for initial smelling.
Pets who pose a risk of running away / backing out of their leashes are equipped with an additional slip lead connected to their collar or harness with a carabiner. Please inform me of this behavior so I can guard against it.
I do not allow pets with history of blatant aggression, however, there are exceptions to pets who have been rehabilitated or are on the right track. These pets will need to be boarded by themselves, and book up all 3 slots.
If one clients pet is not crate trained, the other clients must be crate trained. This means that I will never leave pets alone together who are from separate households, if neither of them are crate trained.
Pets are never left alone outside in the backyard.
My Guarantee: 🤝 ✅ 💫
I am background checked with 0 arrests, lawsuits, evictions or even late credit card payments 😂
I am bonded and insured for pet injury up to $1,000 per occurrence.
I am covered for property damage to your home for $10,000
I am covered in $15k liability for injuries to your pet, that would cover veterinary bills.
Rules: 📋
Pets must be able to be left alone for up to 4.
Discounts apply to pets who are able to be left alone for longer.
Pets must have the following vaccination records sent prior to the stay
• Distemper
• Hepatitis
• Parvovirus
• Rabies
I do not allow clients to be present for introductions to other clients pets. This is because your pups love and protect you! Without you there, I am able to create a neutral territory for all my clients pets without the pressure of them needing to guard you. This means the occurrence of a failed introduction greatly reduced because of these factors:
-Protectiveness
As stated this is one of the top reasons introductions fail.
-Time
It can take many hours to properly introduce pets. This allows a comfortable time for pets to smell and be around each-other via the doggy gate. This is another game changing factor in a successful and un-stressful introduction.
-Lead Aggression.
Introducing pets even in neutral territory like the sidewalk will increase failure. I utilize doggy gates and backyard introductions with me and my partner with our slip leads held loosely.
Pets must not have severe separation anxiety. The is means no history of destruction tendencies without selecting 24-hour care option. This assures that your pet will always be watched and never left alone.

Puppies:
Puppies are categorized based on vaccinations, potty training, and destruction tendencies. Puppies who have not yet had their rabies shots will need to be booked by themselves or get permission to be boarded with my other clients.
Puppies who are vaccinated and crate trained qualify for discounted rates.
Rescues:
I take on rescues of varying degrees of nervousness. They must have lived with you for atleast 1 month, and have reasonable confidence and behavior simply being around other pups. Because of my strict monitoring, I allow rescues to be housed with other clients, permissions granted from other clients.
This means I am able to help rehabilitate and expose your pet to positive stress, and have the ability to remove them from negative stress once their limit of social interactions has been met.
I have many testimonials from clients who have their rescues brought to me. These pups leave better than when they came as I believe in calm and supportive exposure to new circumstances within their boundaries.
In our meet and greets we can discuss their histories, and temperament and we can create the perfect plan for introductions to my home and other appropriate clients pets.
Thank you for reading and I look foreword to our meet and greet!
