We are pleased to share that our CT program is fully up and running, with availability 24-7-365. Here's some highlights:

We are able to complete referral CT's the same day they are referred and have trained staff available 24-7 who are able to acquire images and refer CTs. We're excited not just to offer this service in house to our existing clientele but as a referral service to all area hospitals. If you are a veterinarian and would like to refer a patient, here is a link to our referral form: https://form.jotform.com/241127742420043

Our CT unit is a Toshiba Aquilion with 160 slice capabilities. This means that we are able to acquire whole body scans in just seconds, minimizing anesthesia time. With the pediatric capabilities of the unit, we are able to reduce radiation dose for our patients by at least 50% compared to CT units with less than 160-slice capacity.

The 160 slice capability also means that we are able to significantly reduce movement artifacts (which decreases diagnostic image quality), especially for heart and lung studies.

Even more exciting is that we work with IDEXX radiology. This means that the Doctor (or referring doctor) will have access to a team of boarded specialists as they develop a plan for long term case management.
